Here’s How to Get the Mischief Pokemon Hoopa in the UK
Hoopa is coming to Pokemon X and Y, and Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, from October 23 to November 5.
To get hold of the mischief Pokemon, you’ll need to head on down to your nearest GAME store with a 3DS system in tow. Once there, speak to a member of staff and they’ll hook you up with a code that can be entered in the Mystery Gift section of the aforementioned Pokemon games. After the code is entered, head on over to any Pokemon Center and the delivery lady should gift you a Hoopa.
Hoopa comes in its Hoopa Confined form, which may-or-may-not be a nod to the “popular” meme ‘Hoenn Confirmed’. It’s possible, through the use of an item called the Prison Bottle, to change Hoopa into its other form, Hoopa Unbound. The changing of forms, however, is exclusive to the Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire versions of the game.
P.T. Homage Allison Road Reveals its Dark, Twisted Forest
Fans of Konami's now-dead Silent Hills teaser P.T. were given fresh hope when a new horror game called Allison Road was first announced.
Gameplay we've already seen shows players exploring a house, examining objects and trying to uncover the mystery of what happened there - all of which may feel familiar if you've already walked P.T.'s corridors, too. But it's not just the setting that Allison Road shares with P.T.; there's also a Lisa, a ghost-like girl, and its photorealistic style courtesy of Unreal Engine 4.
Here’s When You Can Play Battlefield Hardline on EA Access
Battlefield Hardline is coming to EA Access on October 14, 2015.
The shooter is the latest game to join the EA Vault, a subscription service which gives access to games like Dragon Age: Inquisition, FIFA 15, Battlefield 4, and Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare.
Hardline’s latest add-on, Robbery, released on September 17, bringing four new maps, a new 5v5 game mode, and two new vehicles, new weapons, and gadgets.
IGN's review of Battlefield Hardline said that the game “impressively manages to please several different audiences at once. Its campaign is both a great shooter and a great stealth game, and its typical plot is spiced with interesting characters and sparse but punctual humor.”
Game of Thrones Composer Scores Rise of the Tomb Raider
Rise of the Tomb Raider will be scored by Game of Thrones composer Bobby Tahouri.
Tahouri has previously worked on Hollywood blockbusters such as Despicable Me 2 and Iron Man, along with several video game franchises, including Hitman, Shrek The Third, and Transformers: Rise of the Fallen.
“It’s been an honor working on such a storied franchise,” says Tahouri on the Xbox Wire. “Lara is someone who embodies an indomitable spirit, and crafting music to accompany her on her journey has been a fantastic experience.”
It’s been a busy few months for the Xbox timed-exclusive. Recently it was revealed that Rise of the Tomb Raider will feature microtransactions in the form of in-game cards, and that there’s a season pass coming.
7 Freaking Awesome Films That Played at Fantastic Fest
Fantastic Fest is pretty much heaven for fans of cult cinema, and this year Austin's finest featured what might just be its strongest line-up yet. Green Room was probably the pick of the bunch, but IGN covered that title in Cannes. We were also able to write reviews of Ben Wheatley’s adaptation of J.G. Ballard's High-Rise, Kurt Russell horror-western Bone Tomahawk, and documentary Remake, Remix, Rip-Off, which features your favourite superheroes like you’ve never seen them before.

Shovel Knight Retail Release Delayed, Xbox One Version Cancelled
Yacht Club Games has announced that the physical retail version of Shovel Knight has been pushed back, and the Xbox One retail version has been cancelled.
The news comes via the Yacht Club Games website, where it says that the retail version of Shovel Knight will now be out on November 3 in North America, and October 30 in Europe.
"The final few steps of the Plague of Shadows content took a little longer than expected, but it was important to us that this update to be on the disc/cart right out of the box," says the announcement. "Unfortunately that meant we had to push back the date just a little a bit."
NASA Confirms That Pluto Has Water Red Ice and Blue Skies
Images sent back by NASA’s New Horizons spacecraft last week reveal that pluto has blue atmospheric hazes and water ice on its surface.
The colour of the haze is caused by called tholins, grey or red coloured particles that scatter blue light in the atmosphere.
“That striking blue tint tells us about the size and composition of the haze particles,” science team researcher Carly Howett said in a statement. “A blue sky often results from scattering of sunlight by very small particles. On Earth, those particles are very tiny nitrogen molecules. On Pluto they appear to be larger — but still relatively small — soot-like particles we call tholins.”
Hunters Is Homeland With Aliens
The New York Comic-Con crowd learned all about a top secret agency tasked with rooting out evil aliens who walk among us.
Hunters -- a new show premiering April 2016 on SyFy -- granted NYCC attendees today a sneak peak at the series. There was also a Q & A with executive producers Gale Anne Hurd (The Walking Dead) and Natalie Chaidez (12 Monkeys), actress Britne Oldford who plays Reagan, Prosthetic make-up supervisor Justin Dix, and Whitley Streiber, the author of the "Alien Hunter" books on which the series is based.
As all traditional sci-fi treads in allegory, Hunters is no different, dealing with the modern problems of terrorism. The protagonists search for evil aliens (or "Hunters" as they're referred to on the show) that walk among us.
Twin Peaks Revival to Recast Sheriff Harry S. Truman
The Showtime Twin Peaks revival is looking for a new sheriff.
According to TVLine, Michael Ontkean will not reprise the role of Sheriff Harry S. Truman. It is rumored Robert Forster (Heroes, Last Man Standing) will be cast as a sheriff, but it is not clear if it’s a new role or if he is replacing Ontkean as Sheriff Truman.
Sources told TVLine, “Michael is fully retired from show business, and has been for many years.”
