The upcoming Legend of Korra graphic novel series will be designed by artist Brittney Williams, Dark Horse Comics announced at New York Comic Con.
Williams will be working closely with series creator Bryan Konietzko to ensure that the comic, which continues the story of the popular Nickelodeon show, stays true to the source material. Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture Head Steps Down
The Chinese Room's Jessica Curry has announced that she is stepping down as co-director of the Everybody's Gone to the Rapture studio.
In a moving post on The Chinese Room's website, Curry attributes her big decision to reasons that include both illness and game industry sexism.
"I have a degenerative disease that simply won’t do what it’s told," Curry writes. "I pushed myself to the edge of a precipice on Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture - I thought if I kept running then I could always keep the disease just out of reach. I was so wrong."
Curry reveals that, in June, she got so ill that she thought she was going to be "brought home in a coffin." "It forced me to re-evaluate what the hell I was doing to myself, and more importantly the effect I was having on my husband and son. I can’t keep running and it’s time to admit that to myself and to everyone who loves me."
Marvel Announces Avengers Crossover for 2016

When the residents of the community rise up in revolt, the Avengers and SHIELD are called upon to keep the peace. That mission is complicated when the dark truth about Pleasant Hill comes to light.
Frank Miller Teases Dark Knight III Details
The Dark Knight returned today at New York Comic-Con! DC Comics held a panel celebrating the 30th anniversary of Frank Miller’s seminal Batman story The Dark Knight Returns, which was first released in 1986. Of course, with the second sequel to that story -- The Dark Knight III: The Master Race -- coming in November, we also got lots of new info on that highly anticipated book. Plus, Frank Miller himself made a surprise appearance at the panel, bringing the house down like one of Batman’s bat-bombs!
DCE co-publisher and Batman artist Jim Lee and Dark Knight III co-writer Brian Azzarello and artists Klaus Janson and Andy Kubert were on hand to celebrate all things Bat. The panel began with a little history lesson on The Dark Knight Returns’ impact on the medium (but you can also watch our history of TDKR below if you want more on that).
Xbox Boss Acknowledges PS4’s ‘Huge Lead’
Head of Xbox Phil Spencer is unsure as to whether or not Microsoft will be able to catch up to Sony's "huge lead" with PlayStation 4, thanks in large part to Xbox One's rough start.
"You know, I don't know," Spencer replied at the 2015 GeekWire Summit (via Videogamer) when asked whether or Xbox One will be able to surpass PlayStation 4. "You know, the length of the generation," he continued. "They
have a huge lead and they have a good product. I love the content, the games line-up that we have."
