A set of text files uploaded to Dota 2 by developer Valve may suggest what's to come for the long-awaited Half-Life 3. SteamDB noticed a strange file called "hl3.txt" in today's update to Valve's Dota 2 multiplayer game, and a series of other out-of-place text files that detail the existence of quests, VR support, NPC squads and more. Whether it's genuinely for a Half-Life 2 sequel, however, is as mysterious as the game's existence has ever been.

Bradley Cooper’s Limitless Return Date is Set

There was never a doubt that Bradley Cooper would reprise his role of Sen. Edward Morra on CBS's new series Limitless after making his debut in the premiere, and now CBS has announced the actor's official return date.

The network revealed Friday that Cooper would be back on the show in episode 6, "Side Effects May Include...," which airs October 27th. In the forthcoming episode, Morra asks for a high price when Brian (Jake McDorman) needs another inoculation to help how the NZT is affecting his mental and physical health.

The involvement of Cooper, who also executive produces the series, is one of the main reasons it was positioned as a sequel. "We knew Bradley Cooper was going to be involved," EP Craig Sweeny said at summer TCA Press Tour. "And so it seemed like, if we wanted the option of having him on screen, we shouldn't recast the role of Eddie Morra, and that informed the show to a certain extent.

But I think we would have done it that way regardless because part of what's appealing about this particular property is that the McGuffin of the NZT pills is infinite. So why not tell the story of somebody else's interaction with this drug?"

7 Dumb Walking Dead Decisions

The Walking Dead returns to AMC on Sunday, October 23rd for Season 7, and while the show has certainly had its share of strong moments, it wouldn't quite be The Walking Dead if some characters weren't occasionally making decisions so dumb and dense they made you want to facepalm yourself into oblivion.

Look, The Walking Dead universe is an intense one. The weak don't survive. Hell, sometimes the strong don't either. And when every episode's about survival it's only natural that viewers become super-invested in every choice the survivors make, comparing those choices to what they themselves would do in the same situation - while also knowing full well that most of us wouldn't survive a single afternoon in this zombie-filled hell. So we scrutinize, and hold characters to very high, pragmatic standards. But even knowing this, and our pickiness, these guys have made some really stupid decisions.

Power Rangers Movie Villain and Timeline Reportedly Revealed

The Power Rangers movie may not quite be the classic revival we expected according to a new report on the film's timeline and villain.

Warning: Spoilers below.

According to Collider's sources, Lionsgate's new Power Rangers movie will continue the story of the TV show. That means it will take place after the current iteration, Power Rangers Dino Charge. A battle in the opening scene, in which the Dino Charge Rangers are protecting the Morphin Grid, may even serve as a handoff from the Dino Charge crew to the new team.

The sources also claim that early antagonists Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd won't be involved here. Since it's continuing the timeline of the show, both of those characters have been wiped out by an energy wave. Instead, the villain may be one who escaped that fate, Scorpina.
