Darkest Dungeon Release Date Announced

Darkest Dungeon will be released on January 19, 2016 for PC, PS4, and PlayStation Vita.

In a blog post on its website, Red Hook Studios reveals that the original release timeframe of October 2015 was pushed back to avoid "rushing our endgame content out the door."

In the lead-up to official launch, a patch dropping in November will include "bloodthirsty" new playable hero The Abomination, as well as two "unsettling" monsters, the standard hotfixes, and some other goodies.

Darkest Dungeon is a challenging, gothic roguelike about the psychological stresses of adventuring. It was announced last year and launched in early access back in February. To learn how to take on the game's toughest enemies, be sure to check out IGN's Darkest Dungeon wiki.

There’s also a base covered in ice, and you can see the Flash’s lightning symbol frozen underneath. While we haven’t seen it in person yet, it definitely looks like an exact replica of what Wentworth Miller uses on the show, right down to the little snowflake detail on the side.
