The 7 Best Xbox One Headsets
Last year we looked at some of the best gaming headsets available on the Xbox One. Our top pick, at the time, was the Plantronics Rig Flex LX. Since then though, a number of new headsets have entered the market including the updated SteelSeries Wireless line, as well as new sets from Kingston, Polk Audio and Astro.
At $130 MSRP, the Plantronics Rig Flex LX is on the pricier side for a stereo wired headset, but it managed to snag our top spot in our previous round-up due to its combination of comfort, excellent chat quality, and clean, well-balanced audio. You can wear this headset for hours, which you’ll want to do: even on the most bass-heavy EQ setting, lows are nice and punchy without overwhelming the mids and highs, and it’s very easy to hear both small audio details and what direction they’re coming from.
Person of Interest Creators Pick Their 8 Favorite Episodes
Warning: Some Spoilers for Person of Interest: Season 1-4 follow...
It's been a big week for the creators and fans of CBS' Person of Interest. Not only did the show enter its first ever syndicated run on WGN America, but the first three seasons were finally released on Netflix - with the fourth arriving on Netflix in just a few weeks, on September 22nd. "The show all about network intelligence is finally on the internet," creator Jonathan Nolan remarked. Fans can now more easily revisit old episodes and - more importantly, perhaps - new eyes can find the show. Hopefully enough to give POI a boost when it returns in 2016 with a 13-episode Season 5.
Metal Gear Solid 5 Servers Now Back Online
The servers for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, have been restored to operation across all platforms.
Konami said it has completed upgrading its servers to handle the load incurred since the game launched on September 1. This means gamers can now access the online functions such as building their Forward Operating Bases, and invading the FOB's of others. It also means players can download their data from the prequel, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes.
Gamers on consoles and PC who tried to log-in to access Metal Gear's online functions have been either locked out completely, or experienced limited functionality.
The ability to carry over your save data from Ground Zeroes is definitely worth it, as completing certain objectives in the prequel will unlock some pretty cool perks in Phantom Pain, including a skin that makes Phantom Pain resemble the first Metal Gear Solid on the original PlayStation.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 Adds Playable Undead Race
Divinity: Original Sin II is adding an undead playable race after reaching a stretch goal in its Kickstarter campaign.
Larian Studios announced the Undead in a Kickstarter update, who come in three variants—Raised Ones, Faint Ones, and Chosen Ones. The race was unlocked when funding hit $1.2 million USD in just over a week.
Divinity: Original Sin II’s Kickstarter campaign launched on August 26 and the $500,000 goal was funded in 12 hours. Skepticism about the game’s funding was addressed by Larian Studios. The developer said the RPG sequel is funded but hoped to extend its budget through crowdfunding to “stretch” ideas further.

Half of Steam’s Biggest-Selling 2015 Games Are in Early Access
Only six games have sold more than 1 million units on Steam during 2015 - and three of them are still in Early Access.
According to a tweet by Steam Spy, those six games were Grand Theft Auto V, Cities: Skylines, Rocket League, ARK: Survival Evolved, H1Z1, and Besiege - and as GamesIndustry.biz points out, the latter three titles have yet to leave Early Access.
This suggests that gamers are happy to support promising titles in Early Access - despite the fact that last year, a research firm revealed that only 25% of Early Access games had released a full, final version since the program started in 2013. The criticism has led to Steam taking action to stop selling Early Access games in limbo; dinosaur game The Stomping Land was removed from the Early Access program after developers failed to update players for months on end.
Our Big, Awesome Autumn Movie Preview
It seems like only yesterday we were anticipating films like Avengers: Age of Ultron, Mad Max: Fury Road, and Jurassic World, but now kids are back at school, leaves are falling from the trees, bulk Halloween candy is in the supermarket, and the air is getting colder. That’s right: Fall is upon us (or autumn as our brethren across the pond say).
As we usher in Labor Day weekend stateside, now's the time to look ahead at the many exciting movies that await us through to the end of November.
It should be noted that this preview only covers US and UK release dates as it's not autumn in Australia. Sorry, mates!
Release Date: September 11 (US), November 27 (UK)
