Konami Issues Metal Gear Solid 5 Save Corruption Warning
Konami has revealed there's a risk of your Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain save becoming corrupt and unusable if you bring Quiet with you as a buddy on Mission 29 or Mission 42.
An update on the company's support site explains that the only way to currently prevent this from happening is by not bringing Quiet with you on either of these missions. The issue affects The Phantom Pain on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC and a fix is being worked on.
Konami has had a tumultuous year after it became clear that Kojima would be leaving the company, followed by the cancellation of Silent Hills, and the announcement of a "mobile first" future.

CD Projekt Red has announced The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be getting its first expansion on October 13.
Hearts of Stone will provide over 10 hours of new content, including new characters, monsters, romance and storylines, alongside a new Runewords system.

Alongside a digital release, Hearts of Stone is apparently getting a limited boxed edition costing $19.99 / €19.99, which comes with a digital code of the game and two actual physical decks of Gwent cards, along with a rulebook. Anyone who's already purchased the Expansion Pass will be able to purchase the cards separately at a special site.

We talked to Orlando about his action-thriller comic that takes place in Jamaica and features a cop who gets outed as homosexual, and the violent aftermath that ensues.
Trainspotting Sequel is Finally Happening
A Trainspotting sequel may actually finally happen.
Director Danny Boyle has finished work on Steve Jobs and is now eyeing the long-gestating sequel to 1996's Trainspotting as his next project.
The Academy Award-winning director told Deadline that Trainspotting screenwriter John Hodge has penned what's being called Trainspotting 2.
Trainspotting was based on an Irvine Welsh novel of the same name, which had a sequel called Porno set 10 years after the events of the original book.
"All the four main actors want to come back and do it," said Boyle. "Now it is only a matter of getting all their schedules together, which is complicated by two of them doing American TV series."

Whisky Altered after Four Years in Space
Scottish whisky that spent four years aging on the International Space Station has returned to terra firma with a set smokey flavours not encountered in Earth samples.
US space research company NanoRacks and Ardbeg Distillery on Islay sent samples of unmatured whiskey to the ISS with charred oak wood shavings in 2011. Control samples of the same whisky were kept on Earth.
The key aims of the experiment were to find out how microgravity impacts maturation of the flavour of oak and the behaviour of terpene, compounds that contribute to the flavour of food, beer, wine and spirits.
After a range of analyses, Ardbeg's director of distilling Dr Bill Lumsden told Sky News that the space samples were noticeably different than the control sample left on Earth.
