The latest update to Minecraft Windows 10 Edition Beta will enable local-area network play with Minecraft-- Pocket Edition.

Toon Link Is Coming to Hyrule Warriors Legends
Hyrule Warriors Legends, the upcoming handheld port of Koei Tecmo's Zelda-themed action game, will feature Toon Link as a playable character.
According to the latest issue of Famitsu (via Gematsu), Toon Link won't be available in Legend Mode, but will be accessible in the game's other modes. Additionally, those who own the game on Wii U will be able to unlock the character via 3DS transfer.

Bandai Namco Files Trademark For ‘Slashy Souls’
Bandai Namco's US-based branch recently filed a trademark for something called "Slashy Souls," which its document on the United States Patent and Trademark Office website refers to as some kind of game software. With Dark Souls 3 on the horizon – albeit without an official release date – fans can only speculate about what Slashy Souls is.
The targeted platform for Slashy Souls is inconclusive given the broad nature of the USPTO's categorization system, but it makes mention of computers, home consoles, and mobile devices. It could be any number of things: a mobile Dark Souls spin-off, a companion app, some kind of browser-based social game, or a completely unrelated project.

Warner Reportedly Wants More Batman, Less Superman
While Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars both Ben Affleck's Caped Crusader and Henry Cavill's Man of Steel, rumor has it Warner Bros. is looking to minimize Cavill's presence in favor of shining more of the spotlight on Affleck.
According to Heroic Hollywood, the studio is requesting that more Batman footage be added to the film, while cutting down on the screen time afforded to Superman. Apparently Affleck's Batman is so impressive, he's outshining Cavill's Man of Steel.
Earlier this year, a report surfaced, claiming Ben Affleck will be directing and starring in a solo Batman movie. Thanks to Nolan's highly successful trilogy of Batman films and the popularity of Rocksteady's Arkham games, there's no doubt Warner is banking heavily on Affleck's take on the character.
