The Xbox One is a Windows 10 Device
With the ongoing push from Microsoft to get Windows 10 into as many homes as possible, it turns out the Xbox One is considered an active Windows device.
Speaking at this year’s Citi Global Technology Conference (via DualShockers), chief marketing officer Chris Capossela explained the following:
“Success for us, we’ve said with Windows 10, in two years we want to have a billion Windows 10 active devices, connected to Windows 10, using Windows 10 on a regular basis,” says Capossela.
“That gives you a little bit of a sense that for us, of course we care about revenue, profit, share, but we also care about usage. Fundamentally, we have to be more focused on how many people are using our stuff every day, and how happy they are using our stuff. And if we get a lot of very happy people, then the revenue, the profit, the share, we think that will follow, we think lots of good things will happen.

This device will alert players to nearby events (such as Pokémon in the vicinity) with flashes and vibrations; players will be able to catch them with the press of a button.

Pacific Rim Sequel Reportedly Delayed
Rumor has it that the sequel to Pacific Rim -- said to be titled Pacific Rim: Maelstrom -- may not be going ahead as soon as previously expected.
"Originally slated to shoot in Toronto in November of this year, we're now being told that the production for Pacific Rim: Maelstrom has been delayed until 2016--what month specifically, we don't know," according to Latino-Review.
"The reason for the delay is also unknown at this time, but there's a good chance this will negatively affect the release date, which is currently set for August 4, 2017."
Hands-On with the 12.9-inch Apple iPad Pro
In addition to a pair of new iPhones, today Apple also announced the iPad Pro, the company's largest tablet yet. Packing a 12.9-inch display, the iPad Pro has been a subject of rumors and speculations for over a year, and starting November it'll finally be making its way into homes.
With a screen large enough to roughly fit two iPad Air screens, the iPad Pro is built to deliver as much content as possible, taking advantage of iOS 9's split-screen multitasking in the process. Fortunately, Apple did a great job at keeping its super-sized tablet as light and thin as possible. The device is not much thicker than the iPad Air 2 and, at just over 1.5 pounds, weighs about the same as the original iPad.
