You’re Saying ‘Voldemort’ Wrong
J.K. Rowling says that just about everyone, including the actors in her movie adaptations, have been mispronouncing the name of Harry Potter antagonist Voldemort.
The revelation came from Twitter (via CNN), after Potter fan Michael Lucero mentioned that the "T" is actually supposed to be silent. Rowling herself acknowledged the factoid in a reply by wryly pointing out how obscure it is:
... but I'm pretty sure I'm the only person who pronounces it that way. https://t.co/HxhJ5XY5HP

Apple OS X El Capitan Coming September 30
The newest version of Apple's OS X, El Capitan, is set to launch at the end of September.
Apple actually revealed the operating system's release date yesterday during their hardware event at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, but didn't draw any attention to it. El Capitan's preview page makes it official, however, setting its public release for September 30.
As for the contents of the updated OS, it aims to improve upon several features introduced by the previous OS version, OS X Yosemite, as well as make everything run a bit smoother; Mail, Maps, app management, and Notes get a few tweaks that make them more flexible and useful. El Capitan also adds a new Split View feature, which, as the name implies, allows users to view two apps at once.

BvS Director Disses Ant-Man
Zack Snyder, the director of Man of Steel and the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, has shed light on the "tricky process" of setting up the DC film universe, while also tossing a few jabs at Marvel.
When addressing Steven Spielberg's recent comments regarding the impending death of superhero movies, Snyder explained why he believes the DC Comics properties may be immune to such a downfall. "I feel like he’s right. But I feel like Batman and Superman are transcendent of superhero movies in a way, because they’re Batman and Superman," he told The Daily Beast.
