Olivia Cooke May Join Spielberg’s Ready Player One
Steven Spielberg has reportedly found his female lead for Ready Player One.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Olivia Cooke (Me and Earl and the Dying Girl, Bates Motel) is in negotiations to star in film. This would appear to take her out of the running for a rumored lead role in Star Wars: Episode VIII.
Cooke was among three actresses rumored for the role of Art3mis, Samantha Cooke’s avatar in the virtual reality universe known as the Oasis.
Wonder Woman Movie: Hot New Villain Rumors
Warner Bros. is reportedly looking to cast a couple of villains based on Greek mythology for the Wonder Woman movie starring Gal Gadot.
According to Heroic Hollywood, Sean Bean and Eva Green are being eyed for the roles of Ares, the God of War, and Circe, the Sorceress, respectively. The villains are considered two of Wonder Woman’s major rivals.
Sean Bean is famous for numerous roles, including Ned Stark in Game of Thrones and Boromir in The Lord of the Rings series.

Dark Souls 3 Japanese Release Date Revealed
From Software has revealed the release date for Dark Souls III, and the next iteration of the brutal series will hit its first quarter 2016 release date, at least in Japan.
On the Dark Souls website, Dark Souls III is listed for release on March 24, 2016 for PS4 and Xbox One, with the PC version "announced at a later date." A physical copy of the special edition of the game will cost 7,430 yen, while downloadable versions will set gamers back 6,930 yen.
Recently Dark Souls director Hidetaka Miyazaki revealed a slew of new details about the upcoming game. Similar to its predecessor, Dark Souls III will allow players to fast travel from the start. Dark Souls III will also let players reallocate their stats, similar to Dark Souls II, to experiment with builds or to undo possibly unwanted leveling choices.

Curt Schilling’s 38 Studios Lawsuit Settlement Reached
A partial settlement of $12.5 million USD has been awarded by a judge in a case against 38 Studios, the former game company of legendary Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling.
Schilling's company, which released Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, folded a few months after the game released. The company had been awarded a $75 million loan by the state of Rhode Island's Economic Development Corporation.
While some of Schilling's co-defendants have settled so far, including this most recent settlement, Schilling still is fighting the lawsuit.
The complaint against the defendants says that 38 Studios failed to inform the EDC that, according to its own internal projections, the studio was destined to fail. Kingdoms of Amalur was not a bad game-- far from it. We gave Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning a 9 in our review, praising its gameplay as putting it ahead of many other RPGs.
Force Awakens Might Have Post-Credits Scene
Star Wars: The Force Awakens may be taking a page from Disney's other blockbuster film franchise with a post-credits scene.
Schmoes Know reports that according to a trusted source, the next episode of the Star Wars saga will feature a teaser for Rogue One, the first of the planned Star Wars anthology films.
If this rumor pans out, the scene would have a lot in common with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which has been using post-credits sequences to tease its future entries since it broke out on its own with Iron Man back in 2008. However, this scene is said to relate to the standalone film rather than Episode VIII.
What to Expect From Destiny’s Red Bull-Exclusive Quest
Red Bull has sent a fireteam into its exclusive Destiny: The Taken King quest, and from that experience, new details have emerged.
Completing the quest successfully unlocks a consumable item which upgrades the SR-0 Swiftriver Sparrow to the SR-1 Swiftriver, which is a "faster version of the sparrow received at the beginning of the quest."
The quest for Destiny's new expansion can be unlocked by redeeming codes on the tabs of branded Red Bull cans. Showing off the new quest, Red Bull's fireteam was required to complete a modified version of level 40 "The Sunless Cell" strike, along with a timed, level 40 Shield Brothers strike.
Jeepers Creepers 3 Is Happening
Myriad Pictures has announced that Jeepers Creepers 3, the third entry in the horror franchise, will go into production next year.
Brandon Smith will return as Sergeant Davis Tubbs, who will put together a task force to destroy the Creeper (played by Jonathan Breck) once and for all... but, of course, the monster isn't going down without a fight.

Okay, so here I can bring up all the juicy details left out of the official Longmire: Season 4 review, which I tried to keep mostly spoiler-free.
Which means I can type freely about how Branch was killed off. Those who followed Longmire news could surely piece this together, as Bailey Chase was not returning to the show (while Gerald McRaney was), but that didn't mean that the discovery of his body, in that faked suicide scene, didn't hit me like a bag of bricks. And so the first three episodes played out with a touch of dramatic irony that we don't usually get to experience on Longmire. We knew what had happened. And not only did we know who killed Branch, we knew who was behind the murder of Walt's wife. And it wasn't Jacob Nighthorse in either circumstance. So Walt spent a few episodes being obsessed with the wrong guy.
Microsoft’s Downloading Windows 10 to PCs That Opted Out of Upgrade
Even if you decided to hold off on upgrading to Windows 10, the files for the operating system could still be on your PC.
Apparently, regardless of whether or not someone opted out of reserving a free copy of Microsoft's OS, the company will still push the necessary installation files to an eligible PC. That is, provided they've set up automatic updates.
One of the Inquirer's own readers reached out to shed some light on the matter, revealing they'd found a hidden Windows 10-specific folder on their machine that was taking up about 6GB of space. And every time the PC was booted, the OS would try to install itself. Following this, the Inquirer asked Microsoft to comment, to which the company revealed that is has, in fact, been downloading Windows 10 to certain PCs since its July 29 launch:
