Battlefield Hardline Enters EA Access Next Month
Battlefield Hardline is coming to EA Access from next month.
The Battlefield spinoff joins previously added titles Dragon Age Inquisition, Titanfall, FIFA 15, Battlefield 4, Madden 15, and some others.
Hardline’s latest add-on – Robbery – released about a week ago on September 17. The expansion adds in four new maps, a new 5v5 game mode, along with two new vehicles, new weapons, and gadgets.
In our review of Battlefield Hardline, we said it “impressively manages to please several different audiences at once. Its campaign is both a great shooter and a great stealth game, and its typical plot is spiced with interesting characters and sparse but punctual humor.”
Rise of the Tomb Raider Shows a New Side of Lara Croft
After playing Rise of the Tomb Raider for three hours, I know more about Lara Croft as a character than I’ve learned over the course of nearly two decades. She’s still young, at the very beginning of her adventures, but a lot of time and care is spent exploring her psychology. What drives her? What makes Lara put herself repeatedly in these life-threatening situations?
Watch the video above to see nine minutes of brand-new gameplay from Rise of the Tomb Raider.
This doesn’t make for a dry character piece either. There’s tremendous variety and more spectacle than ever before. In just over three hours, I scaled a mountain, explored wolf-infested caves, climbed a frozen Byzantine galleon, polished up on my Greek, nearly drowned, and there was even time to fight a bear. While this is obviously a continuation of 2013’s reboot, it feels much more confident in terms of structure and scope.

Roblox Helps You Make Your Own Xbox One Games
Who wouldn’t want to be “The YouTube of Video Games”? User-generated games portal Roblox is doing its best to apply the model to video games as opposed to just videos, by lowering the bar for content creation enough so that anyone can build something interesting, then push it out to as many platforms as possible.
“We believe we’re the best place in the world to build and develop your first game,” says Roblox Chief Marketing Officer Rick Silvestrini. "We have created the only platform in the world where you can build a game once and have it deploy across PC, Mac, iOS, Android, and now Xbox."
Just one user-made Roblox game.
