The Crow Reboot Reportedly on Verge of Losing Director
The reboot of The Crow appears to be on the verge of another major setback.
The Wrap reports producer Edward R. Pressman claims the film is in danger of losing director Colin Hardy, a “key creative element”, due to Relativity Media's bankruptcy filing.
The Crow lost its lead Jack Huston (Boardwalk Empire) due to a schedule conflict back in June. Shortly after that the film’s production halted, also a result of Relativity's bankruptcy.

TBS Is Creating a Counter-Strike: GO League
Turner Broadcasting is partnering with WME/IMG to form a new eSports league featuring Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
According to Variety, TBS will broadcast 20 live events on TV on Friday nights in 2016. The programming will be split into 10 consecutive weeks two times per year and will include playoffs and championship rounds.
“This is a way to bring e-sports to light and the 90 million homes TBS is in,” said TBS president Lenny Daniels.
Daniels also said working with an existing eSports league “didn’t make sense” with the companies’ resources but he did not reveal the dollar amount invested in the league. He did say contestants would be competing for “meaningful prize money.”
Guardians Cartoon Aims for Mix of Humorous and Weird
I’m sitting in a dark control room. There are script supervisors and writers and producers behind me and a woman to my right is speaking commands into a microphone. She’s directing the Guardians of the Galaxy and their nemesis Korvac in a brief fight scene that results in an unexpected time travel jump. But I’m not watching Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana and the rest go on this crazy sci-fi journey, these are different Guardians -- these are the voice actors for the upcoming animated Guardians of the Galaxy television series on Disney XD.
“It respects the success of the movie, but also has its own personality and storyline,” Eric Radmomski, Senior VP of Animation and Development at Marvel, told me about the show. “I think
The Top 10 Modern Simpsons Episodes
Pretty much every Simpsons fan will agree that the show's best days are well behind it. Blame it on the rehashed storylines, the increased focus on celebrity guest stars or merely the fact that the classic writing staff have gone their separate ways. Any way you slice it, it's telling that our Top 25 Simpsons Episodes countdown didn't include a single episode produced after the year 2000. But even if the show has lost a lot of its bite since the golden years, it still offers some moments of greatness. With the show rapidly approaching the 600 episode mark, it's just a statistical inevitability that some recent episodes will be winners.

Halloween Horror Nights: Combining Freddy, Walking Dead and More
It’s the 25th anniversary of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando, which obviously meant there was a lot of pressure to deliver something special. And deliver they did, as this year’s Horror Nights -- which opened last weekend -- is a true standout, with a ton of incredibly fun, inventive and scary mazes and scare zones.
The Orlando version of Horror Nights is notable in that it began with mazes almost entirely based around original concepts. And while they have added a lot of attractions in recent years based on popular movies, video games and TV shows, they have continued to always offer several new concepts as well each year. For the 25th anniversary, looking to honor the past, many of these ideas have been brought back and once more incorporated into Horror Nights, including using the popular HHN character Jack the clown as a host of sorts. At the same time, there’s also Hollywood-based mazes for The Walking Dead, Freddy Vs. Jason, The Purge, Insidious and An American Werewolf in London – though Werewolf is itself a nod to the (recent ) past, as it’s a souped up version of a terrific maze from a couple years back.
Wolverine 3 to Explore Logan and Professor X’s Relationship
20th Century Fox's next standalone Wolverine film will explore the father-son-like relationship between Hugh Jackman's clawed hero and Patrick Stewart's cerebral professor.
In an interview with Collider, Jackman shared a few interesting details about the movie's plot, highlighting the importance of his character's relationship with Professor X, following Stewart's return to X-Men.
"Patrick does figure in it that’s for sure," he said. "I think it’s a really important relationship but I want to see signs of that quasi-father/son sort of relationship that has not been seen before, and sides of particularly Professor X that have not been seen before. So we have some really, really cool ideas."
