Alien: Paradise Lost Will Have Connections to Alien’s Ripley

Prometheus director Ridley Scott suggests that the forthcoming sequel, Alien: Paradise Lost, will have connections to Sigourney Weaver's Ellen Ripley, the protagonist of the Alien film franchise.

Until yesterday's official Alien name reveal, Alien: Paradise Lost was referred to simply as Prometheus 2. Speaking to Empire, Scott explains that the change of name hasn't affected the story in any way:

"In a way it is Prometheus 2. It's exactly the same story. But it was always in the works to be called that

5 New Xbox One Bundles Will Be Announced Next Week

Microsoft is revealing a new Xbox One bundle every day next week starting on Monday, Sept. 28.

"Every day next week... we're unveiling a new Xbox One holiday bundle to complement our incredible lineup of existing bundles and greatest games this year," a Microsoft Spokesperson said. "We’ll refrain from spoiling any details, but make sure to tune into Xbox Wire all next week to stay in-the-know on all the latest Xbox One offerings for this holiday."

The final console bundle will be revealed on Oct. 2. Check back with IGN every day next week for news and images of each one.

GameStop recently announced it will no longer sell console bundles that include digital copies of games.

Sigourney Weaver Returns to Ghostbusters

Ghostbusters reboot director Paul Feig has announced that Sigourney Weaver will appear in the new film.

Taking to Twitter, Feig spoiled the surprise to stop an incoming leak about Weaver's inclusion in the new Ghostbusters. "Gang, trying to keep surprises but this is about to leak, so I'll tell you myself: The awesome Sigourney Weaver is going to be in our movie!" he said.

Weaver, who portrayed Dana Barrett in the first two Ghostbusters films, is the latest cast member from the originals to cameo in the reboot. Bill Murray and Dan Akroyd are set to appear in the movie, along with Ernie Hudson.

New Images from Attack on Titan Live-Action Movie

A fresh batch of new images from FUNimation's upcoming live-action film adaptation of Attack on Titan have been released.

The Attack on Titan movie will be released in two parts, with the first half debuting in select theaters across the United States later this month. Meanwhile, Part 2 will hit the big screen on October 20.

Sam Smith’s SPECTRE Theme Song Released

The theme song for Sony's upcoming Bond film SPECTRE has released.

Sam Smith's Bond song, titled "Writing's On the Wall," is currently available on Spotify and has been embedded below. Give it a listen.

SPECTRE is the fourth film starring Daniel Craig's James Bond, with Skyfall director Sam Mendes directing. It also features the likes of Christoph Waltz, Monica Bellucci, Naomie Harris, Lea Seydoux, and Ralph Fiennes.

Black Ops 3 on PS3 and Xbox 360 Won’t Have Single Player

Call of Duty: Black Ops III for older generation consoles will not come with the same features as the current-gen versions of the game.

According to the Call of Duty blog, the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Call of Duty: Black Ops III will not come with a single player campaign.

“The ambitious scope of the 1-4 player coop Campaign design of the PS4, Xbox One and PC versions could not be faithfully recreated on old generation hardware,” Activision posted on the blog.
