PlayStation Vita Successor Unlikely, Says Sony
Sony won't likely be releasing a PlayStation Vita successor anytime soon, as SCE Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida doesn't believe there's room for one in the current market, thanks to the popularity of smartphone gaming.
"That's a tough question. People have mobile phones and it's so easy to play games on smartphones. And many games on smartphones are free, or free to start," Yoshida said when asked about the possibility of Vita 2 during a Q&A at EGX 2015.
"I myself am a huge fan of PlayStation Vita and we worked really hard on designing every aspect," he continued. "Touch-based games are fun - there are many games with really good design. But having sticks and buttons make things totally different.
Last Man on Earth is Back With Some Notable Changes
The Last Man on Earth returns to FOX Sunday night, on the heels of a Season 1 finale that saw Will Forte's Phil Miller (or “Tandy”) and Kristen Schaal's Carol reconciling and setting out on a new journey, away from the Tucson setting – and the other characters – they’d grown accustomed to. But how different will Season 2 be? I spoke to one of the show’s executive producers, Chris Miller, to get some hints about what’s next.
The busy Miller, who is going to be directing a new Star Wars film soon with his partner and fellow Last Man on Earth EP Phil Lord, was pretty tight-lipped on specifics, but indicated The Last Man on Earth will indeed be going in a different direction this season.
First Witcher 3 Expansion Offers More of a Good Thing
Having already dumped more than 200 hours into The Witcher 3, I was worried that I had overdosed on CDPR's epic fantasy RPG – that I couldn't possibly cram any more enjoyment from it into my eyeballs. After getting to sit down with the first few hours of the Hearts of Stone expansion set to release on October 13th, I'm glad to say that I'm not only more than ready to dive back into the rich open world, but legitimately upset that I can't do it sooner.
While Hearts of Stone doesn't add many new mechanics or new locations (as the second expansion Blood and Wine will), it gives players a fat second helping of the excellent exploration and character-based storytelling that made Wild Hunt so enjoyable. The expansion's plot follows the titular Witcher Geralt as he gets caught up in a supernatural feud between the allegedly-immortal Olgeird von Everec and the mysterious Gunther O'Dim – who eagle-eyed players will recognize as the traveling merchant from the opening of Wild Hunt – and both of whom are clearly more devious than they let on.
Avengers 2 Clip Reveals More on the Mind Stone
Marvel Entertainment has released a deleted scene from the forthcoming Blu-ray/DVD release of Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron, due out October 2.
The clip below shows Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Dr. Erik Selvig (Stellan Skarsgard) in the Norn Cave where the duo seek answers to how to defeat Ultron, while Thor also wants to understand the grim visions revealed to him by Scarlet Witch.
In order to do this, Thor takes a shot of whisky, strips down and jumps into the cave's pond where he becomes possessed by the Norns, the three Norse demi-goddesses of destiny, and, well, watch for yourself (SPOILERS, duh):
The clip also sheds more light on the Mind Stone, the Infinity Stone which becomes part of Vision and ultimately helps the Earth's Mightiest Heroes defeat Ultron.
Jim Lee on Batman: Hush, Omega Men & Supergirl
Today is Batman Day -- DC's second annual celebration of all things Batman -- and what better way to spend it than by talking to iconic Batman artist Jim Lee? We attended a signing for the release of Batman Noir: Hush -- which was drawn by Lee, inked by Scott Williams and written by Jeph Loeb -- and we got the chance to sit down with Lee to discuss the release of the special black-and-white release of the book, plus we asked the DC Entertainment Co-Publisher about the surprise un-canceling of The Omega Men and the potential of getting a new Supergirl comic now that the television show is nearly upon us.

Here’s How Much Space Fallout 4 Will Take Up on Xbox One
The space requirements for Fallout 4 come in at 28.12GB, at least on Xbox One. The listing for the game on the Xbox Store shows the file size for Bethesda's upcoming game.
At just a hair over 28GB, the game will take up less space than The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which weighs in at 31.72GB, and far, far behind Grand Theft Auto 5, which takes up 49.03GB of space on the Xbox One hard drive.

Damon Shares New Details on Bourne 5
Bourne actor Matt Damon has revealed a few new details on what fans can expect to see in his return to Universal Pictures' popular action franchise.
According to Damon, while Jason has retrieved his memories, he still has a lot of questions that need answering. "
has his memory back, but that doesn’t mean he knows everything," he told New York Daily News.
"It’s 12 years since Jason Bourne has been on the grid. So we have to answer the questions, Where’s he been? What’s he doing? What gets him going again? So once we solved all that, then we had a movie."
Opinion: I Have No Idea What’s Going On In Destiny
At launch I played Destiny pretty casually. I sped through the campaign, did some standard grinding (up to around level 25), and even participated in a Strike or two with whoever happened to be online. And then… I stopped. I moved on to other games.
I’ve never been much for MMOs, and my history with shooters is well documented. Once I’d finished the story, I felt like I’d seen enough. I sent my Hunter off into the great beyond without a second thought.
In hindsight, I think I might have missed the point. I was playing the game in the same way I would have played Bioshock, or Deus Ex. Running straight from mission to mission, occasionally jumping into PvP matches, and all together avoiding the bells and whistles that would carry Destiny through year one and beyond. I didn’t realize at the time that Destiny is more about the long game, and ultimately about the love of the grind.
