Dota 2 Fall Major Tickets Are on Sale Now

Valve has opened up ticket orders for the Dota 2 Frankfort Major tournament.

The first five days — from November 16 to 20 — are free and open to the public, while the Frankfort Major finals on November 21 will cost €50. You can order your tickets on the Eventbrite website.

The Frankfort Major will see the 16 best teams in the world go against each other, with a $3 million prize pool. Valve plans to announce the squads competing in the tournament October 5, with qualifiers happening from October 6 to 13.

Avatar Producer Unveils Concept Art for Sequel

Film producer Jon Landau has revealed a new piece of Avatar 2 concept art, providing an early glimpse at the Na'vi in James Cameron's long-awaited sequel.

Landau shared the image in a post on Twitter. Give it a look below.

Despite the fact that Cameron already has a script for Avatar 5, the second film isn't slated to hit theaters until sometime in 2017.

Vin Diesel Promises One Last Fast and Furious Trilogy

There will be one more Fast and the Furious trilogy, according to star Vin Diesel.

On Facebook, Diesel made the trilogy announcement while also discussing the current search for a director on The Fast and The Furious 8. "My producing partner Neal

would love for me to just sign off on a director, but this is too special a franchise, so these matters have to be very carefully handled," he said.

"To be clear, no one has been offered to helm Fast 8 yet ... let alone seen a script. Universal has been so good to me and so trusting of the vision ... they have been like family ... I promised the studio I would deliver one last trilogy to end the saga."

iPhone 6S Sales Hit 13 Million in Three Days

Apple's latest smartphones, the iPhone 6S & iPhone 6S Plus, sold 13 million units during its launch weekend.

The hardware's performance just three days after its launch has resulted in a new sales record for the tech company as well, outdoing the iPhone 6's debut last year when it reached 10 million people within the same 3-day window. That said, the iPhone 6S launch included China for the very first time, while it wasn't part of the initial set of launch countries for the iPhone 6.

SHIELD’s Season 3 Premiere is This Week’s TV Highlight

Welcome to Fall TV: Round 2, as a second massive week of premieres lays into us with new seasons of Homeland and The Leftovers; season closers for Fear the Walking Dead and The Strain; the return Sleepy Hollow and The Blacklist; and series debuts from Grandfathered, The Grinder, Dr. Ken, and The Daily Show with Trevor Noah.

In fact, the week's so busy that not everything's even listed here, as The Good Wife, Bones. Criminal Minds, CSI: Cyber, Madam Secretary, The Affair, and SNL (with Miley Cyrus as host/musical act) also all return to TV.

Our highlight for the week however is the Season 3 premiere of Marvel's Agents of SHIELD, featuring Chloe Bennet's full transformation into the MCU's Daisy Johnson - AKA "Quake."

Uncharted 4 Is About Balancing Love and Passion

The next entry in Naughty Dog's cinematic action series will address the difficulty in balancing life's passions with the ones you love, according to Uncharted 4: A Thief's End writer and creative director Neil Druckmann.

"With Uncharted 4, as we were building it we were realizing more and more what the theme is: it's that balance between pursuing your passions and being with the ones you love, and what happens when you have to choose between those two things," Druckmann told OPM UK (via PSU).

"Is there a way to reconcile that? That's the message of this game, and everything is constructed around that very simple concept," he added.

Minority Report: The Life of a Future Cop

IGN has an exclusive clip for you from Monday's second episode of FOX's new sci-fi series, Minority Report. Set in 2065, the series centers on police Detective Lara Vega (Meagan Good), as she begins working alongside the precog Dash (Stark Sands).

In this clip, Vega takes on some notable threats with the assist of fellow cop Will Blake (Wilmer Valderrama) - as we learn more about what it's like being a cop in the future.

The second episode of Minority Report, "Mr. Nice Guy", airs Monday, September 28th on FOX. A new preview for The X-Files' return will be split into two halves, debuting with this week's new episodes of Gotham and Minority Report.
