Final Fantasy 15 Releasing Simultaneously Worldwide

For the first time in franchise history, Square Enix will be releasing a Final Fantasy game simultaneously around the globe.

"Up until now in previous Final Fantasies, we've never attempted a complete global worldwide release with them," Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata told IGN. "It's always been the export model, where it comes out in Japan first and is then exported to other territories. We're not doing that this time; we want to go full global release."

In order to accomplish this, adjustments had to be made at the studio. "We found that we really didn't have the internal structure which would facilitate doing that. So, we really had to adjust and make sure that ground work was done there internally so we were in a place where we could start doing that."

Is Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Getting a Reboot?

UPDATE: A new report on this potential series contradicts it being a true Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reboot. EW says that while it's true that Will Smith is producing a new project that has "surface similarities" to The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, including possibly being a fish out of water story, it's not in fact actually a new version of Fresh Prince. However, TV Line, who originally reported on the project and named it as The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, has yet to change their story.

Original story follows...

A reboot of the popular 90s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is reportedly in the works.

Konami, Kojima Should ‘Kiss and Make Up,’ Says EA Exec

Despite the ongoing drama between Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima and publisher Konami, Electronic Arts COO Peter Moore doesn't think this will be the end of their relationship.

When asked by GameSpot whether or not EA would be interested in working with Kojima in the event he does sever ties with Konami, Moore replied: "I've always liked Kojima-san. I got on with him during my days at Microsoft. I just think... what's going on there... I just think both of them should kiss and make up.

Sesame Street Moving to HBO

Can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street? Well, first you should change the channel to HBO.

Sesame Workshop and HBO announced a new partnership today that will bring Sesame Street to HBO, HBO Go, HBO on Demand and HBO NOW. The deal runs through the next five seasons of Sesame Street. The press release notes that this will allow Sesame Street to produce “almost twice as much new content as previous seasons.” PBS will continue to air Sesame Street, with the new episodes available there nine months after they debut on HBO. Episodes of Sesame Street will also continue to be made available as part of the PBS KIDS service on PBS member stations.

“Our new partnership with HBO represents a true winning public-private partnership model,” said Sesame Workshop CEO Jeffrey D. Dunn, in a statement. “It provides Sesame Workshop with the critical funding it needs to be able to continue production of Sesame Street and secure its nonprofit mission of helping kids grow smarter, stronger and kinder; it gives HBO exclusive pay cable and SVOD access to the nation’s most important and historic educational programming; and it allows Sesame Street to continue to air on PBS and reach all children, as it has for the past 45 years.”
