Nintendo’s QOL Device ‘Probably Dead,’ Says Analyst

While Nintendo has said it plans to launch its Quality of Life platform early next year, a number of analysts believe the company is quietly pushing the project aside in favor of its new focus on the mobile game market.

"I think it’s been pushed to the back burner," IDC research director Lewis Ward told Fortune. "It’s supposed to be released in the U.S. by the end of March

, but I haven’t heard anything. …

I do think Nintendo has always had an interest in ‘Blue Ocean’ markets and health care and the intersection with their hardware and their software is something they’ve viewed as an opportunity."

Thor: Ragnarok Writer Joins Masters of the Universe

Thor: Ragnarok scribe Christopher Yost has been tapped to pen the screenplay for Sony's He-Man and the Masters of the Universe reboot.

As source Variety notes, Terry Rossio and Jeff Wadlow wrote previous drafts for the studio. The project, based on the popular toy line and He-Man animated series, is being produced by Escape Artists' Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Steve Tisch.

Set in the world of Eternia, the story followed Prince Adam, a warrior with the power to transform into the valiant He-Man. His nemesis Skeletor sought to conquer a mysterious fortress known as Castle Grayskull in order to learn its secrets. The cartoon ran from 1983 to '85 and was so well-received that it spawned a live-action movie starring Dolph Lundgren in '87.

All Free DLC For The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Now Available

All sixteen free add-ons for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt are now available to download on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Ranging from cosmetic add-ons to new side quests, each bit of DLC has been part of CD Projekt Red's endeavor to continue supporting Wild Hunt post-launch.

The latest of these is a New Game Plus mode, which allows players to start a new game upon completion with all of their previous gear.

All of these add-ons can be found on the PlayStation Store under Add-Ons and under Downloadable Content on the Xbox Store game page.

This issue revealed that Regent, the main villain of Renew Your Vows and one of the dozens of Battleworld's barons, is gathering power in hopes of defeating Doom in battle.

Regent has only appeared sporadically in the book to date, with readers learning that he was once a successful businessman named Augustus Roman before he began his crusade to capture every superhuman in his domain and harvest their powers for himself. Regent collected the final piece in his puzzle in this issue when he acquired Spider-Man. The villain revealed that Peter's abilities are key to battling Doom, as his Spider-sense will give Regent enough of an edge to confront the all-powerful ruler of Battleworld. Could it be that Peter Parker will be responsible for the end of Doom's reign and the restoration of the Marvel Universe?

Attention marks, smarks, and WWE fans all over the world: SummerSlam is right around the corner! The four hour (!!!) event is traditionally the most anticipated wrestling pay-per-view right behind WrestleMania, and this year's is sure to be a doozy. Stealth Game Republique Coming to PS4

The Kickstarter-funded dystopic stealth game Repubique will release on the PlayStation 4 in early 2016.

Publisher GungHo Entertainment announced the release today, along with a handful of new details about the planned changes they have in store.

GameSpot reports players will be able to take care of the main character Hope and exercise a bit more direct control over her in the game. Previously, gameplay was much more hands-off as the player served as a separate person guiding her on her escape.

Rebublique first launched on mobile devices and was later ported to PC as Republique Remastered. Currently, only the first three episodes are available to play. All five will be available at the time of launch on the PS4 via the PlayStation Store.

Dwayne Johnson Boards Disney’s Jungle Cruise

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will star in a Jungle Cruise movie, based on the Disney theme park attraction.

The studio has been looking to make a Jungle Cruise movie since 2004, having been in talks with both Tom Hanks and Tim Allen at various points.

Variety reported that Johnson is attached to the project. Johnson then confirmed via Twitter, saying, "Goal is to make this insanely cool and fun for fans 'round the globe. It's said to be a period piece."

Starz has released a poster for its upcoming Ash Vs. Evil Dead TV series.

The image, as seen below, features Bruce Campbell, who is reprising his role as Ash, standing atop a car complete with his chainsaw hand.
