First Footage From The X-Files Revival
To mark the 201 days left until the return of the X-Files, Fox released a trailer for a re-airing of the original series that also contains our first quick glimpse at footage from the show's revival coming in January.
The footage shows a few seconds of Agents Scully and Mulder walking into a dark room with guns drawn - and Mulder, in voice over, giving a slight twist on one of the show's most iconic phrases. Will the truth be revealed at last?
The X-Files has been back in production for a few weeks, and this isn't the only thing we've seen of the upcoming six-episode run. Recently, photos from the set have shown us glimpses of lead actors David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, among others.

Cowboy Bebop Has Never Been Cheaper
Three, two, one let's jam! The complete Cowboy Bebop debuted on Amazon for $43, and then hung out at $30 for quite some time. Now it's sitting at $24, which is the lowest I've ever seen. You can also get the Cowboy Bebop Movie for $7 if you're a real CB completist. The complete series is an Amazon deal of the day, so I expect it to go back up to at least $30 in the next twenty-four hours.

Harry Shearer Coming Back to The Simpsons
Actor Harry Shearer, who voices Mr. Burns, Ned Flanders and Smithers on The Simpsons, will return to the animated show after all.
Entertainment Weekly reports that Shearer has signed the same deal as his five fellow primary voice actors on The Simpsons: Dan Castellaneta, Yeardley Smith, Julie Kavner, Nancy Cartwright and Hank Azaria. That means Shearer is contracted for four more seasons (though FOX has only renewed the show for two more years right now), earning an estimated $300,000 USD per episode.
Shearer's signing is surprising because the actor announced he was leaving The Simpsons back in May. At the time, Shearer said he wanted the freedom to do other work, which baffled Simpsons showrunner and executive producer Al Jean, who claimed all of the cast has great free time to pursue other project.
