Here’s Bruce Campbell as Ronald Reagan in FX’s Fargo
Beloved movie icon Bruce Campbell will be playing beloved-by-some Republican president Ronald Reagan in the upcoming season of FX's Fargo, and FX is handing out buttons at San Diego Comic Con with Campell-as-Ronnie's likeness.
Entertainment Weekly has a photo of the campaign button, which are being handed out to promote Campbell's appearance as The Gipper in season 2 of Fargo. In the timeline of the show, Ronald Reagan passes through Fargo on a campaign stop during the lead-up to the 1980 election.
Lou Solverson, played by Patrick Wilson, is assigned to protect Reagan during the stop. Spoiler: Reagan goes on to win the election.
This Black Ops 3 Special Edition Comes with a Working Fridge
A special edition of the first Black Ops came with a remote control car. A few years later, a special edition of Black Ops 2 included a remote control drone. Now, for Black Ops 3, you can be the proud owner of a small refrigerator (no remote control needed).
The Juggernog Edition includes a fully-functional mini-fridge, with room for a dozen standard, 12 oz. cans. If you're worried about those pesky water rings, don't worry, because it also comes with custom Perk-a-Cola coasters. Along with the game itself, here's what else you'll get:
- A season pass
- A collectible book
- Limited edition concept art cards

All told, the audiobook will have over 50 different voice actors attached to it, along with an original score. Additionally, the audiobook will be free from October 5 to November 4 on the Audible store. After that, the book will be available for purchase.
Katamari Creator Shows Off His Crazy New Game, Wattam
Katamari Damacy creator Keita Takahashi is known for his lovably eccentric style, so it’s no surprise his latest project, Wattam, is vibrant, adorable, and more than a little bit strange. I suppose the elevator pitch would be: “Save the world by finding friends, holding hands, and making random objects dance and/or explode,” but I can’t imagine that makes much sense out of context. Suffice it to say, any cynicism that touches this game will immediately recoil in screeching terror as it melts into a bubbling black pool. It’s just that delightful.
For starters, Wattam’s art style is reminiscent of a children’s storybook. Every object has a face and a name and bursts with a wide-eyed enthusiasm generally reserved for newly adopted puppies. And mechanically, Wattam functions more like a playground than a game, providing you with a series of systems to explore rather than rigidly outlined objectives. Progress is made simply through experimentation and — in the truest sense of the word — play.
Black Ops 3’s Zombies Cast Revealed
At a packed panel at Comic-Con this year, Treyarch revealed new details and the celebrity cast for Call of Duty: Black Ops III's Zombies mode.
Treyarch director Jason Blundell and lead writer Craig Houston kicked things off by discussing the origins of Nazi zombies in the series. Jason joked “It’s a thing that shouldn’t be.” Started as an after-hours project at the studio, Zombies in Call of Duty grew out of the team’s extracurricular tinkering with the game while World at War was in development.
Leveraging the enthusiasm of the community and the legacy of zombies of Black Ops, the developers are making the story more overt in Black Ops III and revisiting Mob of the Dead. Set in the 1940s, Shadows of Evil is a heavy noir piece full of gangsters, dancers, and boxers fighting against hordes and hordes of undead.
Here’s What the Co-Creator of Korra Is Working on Next
Michael Dante DiMartino has lifted the lid on his next project, which follows his work on the popular Nickelodeon series The Legend of Korra.
It's a new book series called Geniuses, which, according to io9, "explores the concept of 'art as magic.'" The first installment in the series, titled The Creature and the Creator, is set to release in 2016. Here's a look at the one of the sketches that will be featured in the book.
Minority Report Series Casts New Lead
Fox's Minority Report TV series has made a change to its casting, bringing on a new actor to play one of the twins.
Slashfilm reports that Nick Zano (One Big Happy) will play Arthur, one of the two precog twins. Originally, Stark Sands was set to play both Dash and Arthur, but now he'll just be Dash. They'll play fraternal twins, to explain their different appearances. The pilot will reportedly need reshoots for Arthur's scenes.
According to the studio, Arthur is the more world-wise of the brothers, but also more cynical. While Dash attempts to use his visions to help people, Arthur tends to use his abilities to benefit himself with wealth and power.
Toy Soldiers: War Chest Just Got A Little Fuller
At San Diego Comic Con today, Ubisoft revealed Toy Soldiers: War Chest will include a playable Assassin's Creed army, as well as toys representing the greatest threat to G.I. Joe and its fight for freedom, Cobra Commander and his army.
Last month it was revealed that He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, along with the aforementioned G.I. Joe, would be part of the toy collection coming to the next entry in Signal Studios' toy-based tower defense line of games.
In addition to the four licensed armies, Toy Soldiers: War Chest will include a number of original armies as well, including Starbright, a sci-fi commander named Phantom, the Dark Lord, and in keeping with the original Toy Soldiers, a WW1 Kaiser.
Watch Street Fighter 5’s Ken Spin Around and Light Stuff on Fire
So I can't say I'm surprised that Ken Masters was announced for Street Fighter 5 at San Diego Comic-Con, however, I AM surprised by both how sick he looks, and how much I want to play him. At first glance in his reveal trailer, I honestly couldn't tell who he was until a few seconds in, and that's a good thing. His classic red karate gi is undone up top, exposing a tight black shirt with veins of red running through it, and he's dropped the Steven Seagal ponytail for a top-knot hairdo. Crazy Ken...always keeping us guessing. For a full, painstaking breakdown of every move shown in his trailer, check out my video rewind of Ken's reveal trailer above. For the short version, read on.
Pixar Presents Sanjay’s Super Team
Pixar Animation and Disney showcased their upcoming animated short film Sanjay's Super Team at San Diego Comic-Con today. The short, which will play in in front of The Good Dinosaur, is directed by Sanjay Patel, who was joined at the Con by producer Nicole Grindle to show attendees the film and take them behind the scenes of the production process.
A very personal film for Patel, Sanjay's Super Team promises to feature "superheroes like never before." The short chronicles the eponymous child who goes from being a kid hooked on superheroes to honoring his dad's Indian traditions thanks to a fantastical encounter with three Hindu deities: the monkey-like Hanuman; Vishnu, the the blue-skinned god who represents preservation; and Durga, the goddess of power and protection Durga. Sanjay comes to see them as sort of like the Indian version of Avengers or Justice League, and this helps him connect with his pious dad.
