AMC: ‘No Plans’ to Combine Walking Dead TV Series

At the Fear the Walking Dead panel today at San Diego Comic-Con, the question was raised as to whether the new cast will ever meet up with the cast of the original Walking Dead show.

“I want to meet Rick,” said Fear star Cliff Curtis. “I’m campaigning to meet Rick Grimes because I have a bromance with the man.”

Executive Producer Dave Erickson, however, isn’t as hopeful about such a team-up.

“There are no plans right now to combine the two series,” said Erickson. “I think

Scott Gimple would kill me if I ever pitched that idea. Geographically it would be tough. There is currently no plan to do it.”

That of course makes perfect sense, since the new show is set on the other side of the country in Los Angeles. Still, you never know what the future holds.

Cast members Poppy Drayton (Amberle), Ivana Baquero (Eretria), Austin Butler (Wil), Manu Bennett (Allanon), and John Rhys-Davies (Eventine) and executive producers Al Gough, Miles Millar, and Brooks brought the first trailer for the upcoming drama to Comic-Con and shared a little information about the characters and development process.

Why The Coalition Is Only Remaking the First Gears of War

The Coalition studio head Rod Fergusson has explained that time and resources are the reasons his team could only remake the first game with Gears of War: Ultimate Edition.

During a San Diego Comic-Con panel yesterday, Fergusson responded to a question about why Microsoft and The Coalition aren't compiling all of the Gears games together, similar to Halo: The Master Chief Collection, according to Gamespot. "It's really hard work

," he said. "It takes a long time.

"It took us in the end 16 to 18 months to do the first one, and to try and do three games ... how many people would we need to have? It just wasn't logistically or physically or technically possible. For us it was really about what can we do, what can we focus on."

The 100: Lexa Returning in Season 3

It was revealed during The 100's Comic-Con panel today that Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey) -- last seen betraying Eliza Taylor's Clarke by taking her fighting Grounders out of Season 2's final battle -- will definitely return for some fierce Season 3 drama.

When a fan in the audience asked a question about whether or not there'd ever be a reconciliation between Lexa and Clarke, showrunner Jason Rothenberg answered, "I suppose there’s hope for reconciliation because Alycia Debnam-Carey is coming back to the show. And, yes, Clarke is pissed and there’ll be fireworks between them that we’ve never seen before. I think that it'll be interesting to see how they butt heads. Or not."

"They will make an attempt at peace, for sure, but there's a lot of bad blood," he continued. "When we start off in Season 3, the war is not on and the tensions have been released slightly, but that won’t last very long."
