Grand Theft Auto: Daniel Radcliffe Talks BBC Movie

Daniel Radcliffe was cast as Rockstar Games' Sam Houser for BBC's upcoming film about the making of Grand Theft Auto, and the Harry Potter star discussed violence, the lawsuit, and more with IGN at San Diego Comic-Con.

"It was a lot of fun to play Sam Houser," Radcliffe said. "I think people who love the games will really be interested in how they came together.... It takes place from after Vice City was released during San Andreas. It's about the Hot Coffee incident, and Jack Thompson is involved."

Radcliffe also discussed the influence of the series' violence, and disagreed with the notion that Grand Theft Auto, as some such as Thompson suggest, is responsible for violent behavior. "It's too simplistic," he said.

New Star Wars Crossover Coming This Fall

Marvel's annual Cup O' Joe Panel at San Diego Comic Con was as packed and popular as ever, as ringleader Joe Quesada dropped the latest scoop on all things Marvel. Joined by an esteemed number of industry panelists, including Axel Alonso, Tom Brevoort, C.B. Cebulski, Charles Soule, Greg Pak, Cullen Bunn, and Kieron Gillen, the panel shed some light on upcoming projects and then turned it over to the fans.

Cup O' Joe is always the place to be for new announcements, and we got one in the form of a Star Wars / Darth Vader crossover titled Star Wars: Vader Down. Seeking to bind the events of the two separate books together, this six-part series will see Star Wars writer Jason Aaron team with the Vader creative team of Kieron Gillen and Salvador Larroca. Mike Deodata will share art duties. The story will revolve around a do-or-die mission by the Rebels to take down a stranded and but not-so-vulnerable Vader. Described as a natural progression in regards to where the series has come so far, Gillen promised the kind of story any Star Wars fan can get behind, in addition to Wookie on Wookie action. Pride and Prejudice and Zombies Slaughters the Undead at SDCC

It was all about zombies and the Infected -- and Jane Austen -- at today’s Screen Gems panel at Comic-Con with the upcoming films Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and Patient Zero showing off footage and more.

The Pride and Prejudice and Zombies panel featured stars Lily James, Sam Riley, Bella Heathcote, Douglas Booth, Jack Huston and Matt Smith, along with director Burr Steers and Seth Grahame-Smith, who wrote the book on which the film is based.

The Pride footage featured what any Jane Austen adaptation should: young ladies contemplating their love lives, dancing at balls, and squeezing into corsets and gowns… only in this case, they also strap weapons and blades on under their garments. And then they kick serious zombie butt. It’s a juxtaposition of costume drama manners with undead-crushing action.

Gal Gadot on Becoming Wonder Woman

At the San Diego Comic-Con "Women Who Kick Ass" panel, Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot shared her thoughts on becoming the iconic heroine.

When asked about how Gadot felt when she first saw the concept art and costume, she said:

"It was like an out of body experience because there was this little girl from Israel becoming Wonder Woman. I love the way they made the costume look, and I think it really represents the Wonder Woman of today. I'm very, very grateful to be the one to bring her to life."

In regard to the auditioning process, Gadot said "Two years ago, I was in Los Angeles and they told me that Warner Bros. wanted me to audition for something. I didn't know what it was, but I did an audition."

12 Monkeys: Season 2 Will Deliver More Answers

12 Monkeys show runners Terry Matalas and Travis Fickett promised more answers, more time travel and yes, more paradox when the series returns next year. Though they were vague about whether we'd learn who the Witness is, they did confirm that we learn about the Red Forest, whose remains the virus originates in, and what is the agenda of the Army of the 12 Monkeys. We will also learn more about the mysterious Olivia and why the 12 messengers want to take control of the time machine.

Aaron Stanford said that Cole is in a different place now. He's choosing life over death. Cassie has now become a time traveler herself and will be affected by her time in the future. Even when they are reunited physically, they will not be as close as they were at the end of Season 1 and will have to "find each other again." When the season begins, Cole and Ramsey will be on the run in Budapest for an undisclosed reason, while working through their very complicated friendship.

Tarantino May Not Retire at 10 Films After All

In the past, director Quentin Tarantino has said he would retire from movies after making 10 films. But that might not be the case.

"I might say to hell with that and make it to 15. We'll see.” Tarantino said, during a crowded San Diego Comic-Con panel.

Tarantino told Playboy in 2012 “directors don’t get better as they get older. Usually the worst films in their filmography are those last four at the end.” He then felt 10 films would be enough for his career.

Regardless of the inevitable decision, Tarantino remained adamant that he wanted to continue his career shooting on film. Because if he's going to get stuck shooting on digital, then he'll just go and shoot for TV miniseries instead.

Batman Team Talks New Bad Guys

DC Comics talked all things Gotham at their New DC Universe: Batman panel, which featured the Batman creative team of writer Scott Snyder, artist Greg Capullo and editor Mark Doyle.

Moderator John Cunningham kicked off the panel, jokingly noting that "Not much has happened in Gotham this year." The panelists began by going through a set of process shots from issue #41, showing the transition from Capullo's pencils to Danny Miki's inks to FCO's colors. As the slides were shown, the team discussed their own collaborative process from issue to issue, with Snyder remarking that everything he's written for Capullo has come back better than he imagined. This lead to a big smooch from Capullo and a cheer from the crowd. The two then lauded the elasticity of the other, each sharing a number of amusing anecdotes in regards to their working relationship.

Quentin Tarantino Says Kill Bill 3 Could Still Happen

Today at The Hateful Eight panel at Comic-Con, director Quentin Tarantino was asked if his often-rumored Kill Bill Volume 3 could still happen. And it sounds like it might!

“Never say never to Kill Bill 3,” said the Tarantino. “Uma

would really like to do it. We talk about it every once in a while. Vernita’s daughter just needs to get a little older.”

That, of course, would be Vernita Green, the character played by Vivica A. Fox. Vernita’s young daughter witnessed Thurman’s Beatrix Kiddo kill her mom, and as such has often theorized as a possible motivating factor -- looking for revenge -- in a third film.
