Comic Book Reviews for July 15, 2015
The comic industry slowed down a bit in the aftermath of Comic-Con, but only in the most relative sense. This was still a pretty big week for multiple publishers. DC delivered another epic chapter of The Darkseid War with Justice League #42, along with new issues of Harley Quinn, Black Canary and Green Lantern: The Lost Army.
Marvel launched another wave of Secret Wars tie-ins, such as Captain Britain and the Mighty Defenders, Guardians of Nowhere, Hail Hydra and Siege, alongside returning fare like Captain Marvel and the Carol Corps and Years of Future Past. Perhaps their biggest release, though, was the long-delayed final issue of Hawkeye, which nabbed a rare 10 rating from our Review Crew.

Is the Power of PlayStation Exploring Pluto?
Not only did the MIPS R3000 processor help to bring you some of the best games of the 90s, it also sent a spaceship to Pluto.
The New Horizons spacecraft performed a fly-by of Pluto this week and sent back the best image mankind has seen of the planet so far. According to The Verge, New Horizons uses the very same CPU that Sony built into the very first PlayStation, albeit a radiation-hardened version.
The 32-bit processor clocks in at 12MHz, which is nothing by today's standards, but is apparently enough to both run Silent Hill and send a spaceship 3 billion miles through space on schedule.

Grand Ages: Medieval Has a PlayStation 4 Release Date
Grand Ages: Medieval is coming to PlayStation 4 on September 25.
The real-time grand strategy game is a follow-up to 2009's Grand Ages: Rome, and provides a massive game world of 20 million square kilometers for its "epic" single player campaign.
"For those new to the genre, Grand Ages: Medieval is a real-time, grand scale strategy game that takes place in the High Middle Ages," writes the game's creative director, Daniel Dumont, on the PS Blog.
"The game begins in the year 1050 A.D. as you assume the role of a mayor governing a small European settlement. Your goal is to lead your people through the decades by expanding your trade routes and nation’s influence; and eventually, begin conquering all of Europe."
Swap Factions in World of Warcraft PvP Soon
An upcoming patch will add a player versus player Mercenary Mode to World of Warcraft.
This means that if your faction is experiencing a long wait time to get into Ashran or unrated Battlegrounds, agents will appear in your base that will allow you to enter disguised as an enemy player, playing for the other faction.
You still earn all the same rewards when playing as a mercenary, unless they are faction-specific achievements. Your race will be automatically changed into an appropriate one from the opposite faction while you're inside Ashran or the Battleground.
The announcement on the WoW blog says that Blizzard's goal "with Mercenary Mode is to allow players who want to participate in Ashran or unrated Battlegrounds the ability to do so without having to wait through long queues, while still maintaining the spirit of the core Alliance vs Horde fantasy."

Arkham Knight: Retailer Memo Says PC Broken Until September
Batman: Arkham Knight's ongoing problems on PC may not be fixed anytime soon, according to a leaked retailer memo.
Kotaku Australia has reportedly seen an internal email sent to EB Games staff, which explains the game won't be fixed until the Australian Spring.
"As previously advised, we have stopped sales of Batman: Arkham Knight PC while Warner and Rocksteady work on addressing performance issues with the game," it reads. "The latest information from Warner is that the updates won’t be available until Spring. Due to this we have made the difficult decision to recall all PC stock from stores to return to the vendor until an acceptable solution is released.”
