The Dwarves Announced for Xbox One, PS4, PC

Tactical RPG The Dwarves has been announced for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, with a full reveal coming at this year’s Gamescom.

Players assume the role of Tungdil, a dwarf who grew up around humans. Throughout the story, Tungdil sets out to gather a group of up to 12 companions. Before each battle kicks off, the player picks up to four heroes to accompany them before being thrusted into a fight against hundreds of enemies at once.

The Dwarves is being developed by German studio King Art Games, and is based on the four-book Dwarves saga (Die Zwerge) by German author Markus Heitz.

Dying Light Vehicle DLC Teased

Dying Light developer Techland has teased vehicle DLC is on the way for its parkour zombie game.

A new trailer, reflecting on all the updates that have been released in the six months since the game launched, teases even more will be revealed at Gamescom.

The new video, which you can see below, closes out with a shot of a dune buggy and two characters overlooking the city below. The full announcement will apparently be made at Gamescom, so be sure to keep an eye on IGN in early August for all the news on when you'll be able to shoot around town, mowing down the shambling hordes.

The Bozak Horde DLC was released for Dying Light in May. Techland has also recently stated that even though it is currently putting all of its focus on Dying Light, Hellraid has not been cancelled.

Funko Reveals Arkham Knight Vinyl Figures

Today Funko announced a new series of Pop! Heroes vinyl figurines based on the Batman: Arkham Knight video game. This series will consist of four figures: Batman, Scarecrow, Harley Quinn and the Arkham Knight.

We have the exclusive first reveal of all four figures. Check them out below:

Like most Pop! vinyl toys, these figures measure about 4 inches tall and carry an MSRP of $10.99.

This isn't the first time Funko has tackled the Arkham franchise. Last year they released a series of five figures based on Arkham Asylum (Batman, Joker, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy and Killer Croc).

Look for the Arkham Knight series to hit stores in September 2015. With any luck, Funko will follow up that release with more heroes and villains from the Arkham universe.

Here’s Mass Effect’s Tali’Zorah Detailed Kotobukiya Statue

Kotobukiya is releasing another collectible in its official Mass Effect 3 statue line with Tali'Zorah nar Rayya.

Full pricing details on the new Bishoujo statue from the sci-fi game series are currently light but it’s slated for a February 2016 release.

Tali'Zorah is the latest collectible to come from Kotobukiya's licensing deal for Mass Effect, joining an ARTFX Commander Shepard and a Liara T'Soni statue.

The Liara T'Soni Bishoujo statue stood nearly 10 inches tall and retailed for US$59.99.

New Track, New Cars Revealed for Forza Motorsport 6

Turn 10 has revealed a brand new track and another 41 cars that will feature in the Forza Motorsport 6 garage.

The new track joining the game is Connecticut’s Lime Rock Park. Opened in 1957 Lime Rock Park has been described as the spiritual home of motor racing in New England and has hosted a huge number of famous drivers and race types over its lifespan.

This week’s batch of cars includes 21 Fords, including the monstrous 1981 #2 Zakspeed Racing Capri Turbo and the 1969 Ford Boss 302, a Trans-Am legend.

X-Men: Apocalypse Releases 8 Hi-Res Photos

New X-Men: Apocalypse hi-res images have been released, giving an even better look at the stars of the upcoming sequel.

Following their reveal last week in Entertainment Weekly, the images show in greater detail Game of Throne’s Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Lana Condor as Jubilee, and Alexandra Shipp as the Mohawk version of Storm.

These aren’t the only new images to appear recently. Director Bryan Singer teased a ‘ruined Cairo’ on Instagram today.

Kojima Reveals Bloody New Metal Gear Solid 5 Poster

Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima has revealed what he notes is the final poster for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, via Twitter.

Kojima explained the poster, which depicts Snake and sniper Quiet dripping with blood, will be seen in “limited stores” from August. He also explains the text reads, “stained in blood, the aftermath of revenge.”

Is NASA about to Announce the Discovery of ‘Another Earth’?

NASA may announce the discovery of a new Earth-like body by its planet-hunting Kepler Space Telescope at a press conference tomorrow.

“The first exoplanet orbiting another star like our sun was discovered in 1995. Exoplanets, especially small Earth-size worlds, belonged within the realm of science fiction just 21 years ago,” a prepared statement reads. “Today, and thousands of discoveries later, astronomers are on the cusp of finding something people have dreamed about for thousands of years -- another Earth.”

Rumor Has It This is Who Plays Robin in BvS

As the Comic-Con trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice revealed, Robin exists in this new DC cinematic universe. Or did exist since we see his costume, riddled with taunting graffiti, hanging in the Batcave, presumably because Joker killed him.

But will we actually see the Boy Wonder on the big screen?

According to Heroic Hollywood, we will and they also claim to know who plays him.

Read Smash Bros. Creator’s Moving Satoru Iwata Eulogy

Smash Bros. creator Masahiro Sakurai has penned a heartfelt eulogy for Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata, who sadly passed away on July 11.

Sakurai called Iwata “a man of virtue” among other things, in the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu, via Kotaku’s translation.

“Our positions and locations changed throughout our long association,” Sakurai said. “He was the best superior I ever had and a man who understood me better than anyone.

He was a man of virtue. Where a normal person would get annoyed or angry, he would never show such emotions and would instead analyze, organize, and offer ideas. He was someone who could bow his head and apologize for things that weren’t his fault. I often worried about his stress levels, but he always talked with a smile.
