Universal May Be Developing a Video Game-Based Theme Park

Universal Studios is reportedly developing a theme park with a heavy focus on video games for its Orlando Resort. The rumored park would feature various attractions based on Nintendo and Blizzard Entertainment properties.

According to This Is Infamous (via /Film), a Mario Kart ride is currently in the works for the park, as well as attractions based on Pokemon and The Legend of Zelda. World of Warcraft is also said to have a big presence in the park, which makes sense considering Universal is the studio behind the upcoming Warcraft film adaptation.

Updated at bottom of story with a statement from Hulk Hogan...

Early this morning, speculation ran wild when Hulk Hogan's profile was removed from WWE's website and the Tough Enough website. Likewise, all Hogan merchandise had vanished from the company's online shop.

Rumors were swirling that Hogan had been released from the company due to racial remarks said during a radio interview in which he was discussing an old promo cut by Booker T. But nothing was certain. There was a "tape" out there of Hogan saying inflammatory things. It may have even been his sex tape, currently at the center of a lawsuit between Hogan and Gawker, which also contained Hogan using inappropriate racial remarks, per the National Enquirer. Split-Screen Gaming is Alive and Well

It's a miracle this week's IGN UK Podcast ever got recorded, what with Krupa, Rory and Alex spending every spare minute playing Rocket League. The car football (or vehicle soccer is your surname is Powers) game has got everyone hooked, but also demonstrates that split-screen gaming is very much alive and well, so much so was it wrong that it's been ditched in Halo 5?

We also skim over the best and worst of the week, somewhat pathetically labelled Red Hotty and Cold Botty. Hmmm.

But we promise the podcast is still a gem, and you can watch the entire podcast up above, download it over on iTunes, or download it directly from the source via the link below:
