Advanced Warfare, Black Flag Lead This Week’s Deals With Gold

Microsoft has revealed this week’s Deals With Gold.

Headlining this week’s deals are Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. Call of Duty sees 33 percent off the Advanced Warfare Digital Pro Edition and 35 percent off the Gold Edition.

If sailing the seas as Edward Kenway is more your thing (who’s voiced by Constantine’s Matt Ryan, by the way), then the Black Flag Season Pass, Illustrious Pirates Pack, Multiplayer Gameplay Pack, Multiplayer Appearance Pack, Beard’s Wrath, Guild of Rogue, and the Crusader and Florentine Pack are all 50 percent off.

Elsewhere, there’s 30 percent off Warframe currency, and 30 percent off AirMech content - the latter of which is available for both Silver and Gold members.

‘Impossible’ Propulsion Engine Actually Works

German scientists have confirmed that an Electromagnetic Propulsion Engine, claimed by some to be 'impossible', actually works.

The EM Drive breaks the conservation of momentum law of physics, which is why it was originally widely ridiculed by the scientific community. However after repeated testing, it appears that the engine is actually producing thrust. Claims earlier in the year that it was creating a warp field have now been refuted.

It is propelled forward by microwaves bouncing around inside a closed chamber. It will supposedly be able to get us to Mars in just 70 days, without using expensive rocket fuel.
