Donnie Yen Reportedly Cast in Star Wars: Episode 8

Ip Man and Hero star Donnie Yen has reportedly signed on to appear in Star Wars: Episode VIII.

According to Twitch Film (via Apple Daily), the Hong Kong star is flying off to London in August to start shooting Star Wars: Episode VIII. The report states that Yen will be sharing the screen with Han Solo actor Harrison Ford, though Oscar Isaac is the only confirmed cast member returning for the sequel so far.

Forza Horizon 2 Gets IGN Car Pack Tomorrow

There are six new cars coming to Forza Horizon 2, five of them available tomorrow in the IGN Car Pack exclusively on Xbox One and a sixth free for all players. The pack will cost $5 on the Xbox Store or the Forza Hub app on Xbox One.

Included in the IGN Car Pack is the 2013 Aston Martin V12 Vantage S luxury sport coupe, the subcompact 2015 Audi S1, the nearly 350 horsepower 2011 Lotus Evora S, the classic 1971 Plymouth GTX 426 HEMI muscle car, and the 2014 Nissan Juke Nismo RS.

Free for all players is the 2002 Ferrari 575 Maranello, a powerful front-engined grand tourer and one of the first road-going V12s with an F1-style gearbox.

How Skyrim’s Technical Issues Will Make Fallout 4 Better

Skyrim's ambitious offering of possibilities made it a major success with players and critics, but also created a large number of technical issues across all platforms, particularly on the PlayStation 3. That's why the development team at Bethesda Game Studios have learned from past experiences and carefully refined their process to make the upcoming launch of Fallout 4 as smooth as possible.

Speaking with Game Informer, Fallout 4 director Todd Howard explained that Skyrim's popularity and large amount of player data led to difficulties in bug troubleshooting post-launch.

Here’s a Sneak Peek at Xbox’s Ultimate Game Sale

Microsoft has lifted the lid on its upcoming Xbox Ultimate Game Sale, which kicks off tomorrow, July 7.

According to Xbox Live's Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb, the sale will discount over 70 different titles by a whopping 40 to 50 percent. Plus, those with an Xbox Live Gold subscription will be able to save even more, with an additional 10 percent off bonus.

Featured titles include the likes of Mortal Kombat X, Far Cry 4, Ori and the Blind Forest, Dragon Age: Inquisition, and a number of other high profile Xbox One games.

On the Xbox 360 front, Injustice: Gods Among Us and The Orange Box will be receiving discounts as well.

Minecon 2015 Sets Guinness World Record

Minecraft has once again made history.

With 10,000 ticket sales for the 2015 Minecon event in London, England, the convention dedicated to all things Minecraft earned a Guinness World Record for being the largest convention in history for a single video game.

The Independent reports Minecon's audience included citizens of 73 countries, with some fans even traveling to London from as far as New Zealand.

A Guinness World Records representative was at the event to present the award to developer Mojang's brand manager Lydia Winters, who called the crowd at the event "officially amazing."

Marvel Experience Theme Park Tour Cancelled

Bad news for Chicago, New York, and St. Louis comics fans who were expecting to attend the traveling interactive theme park The Marvel Experience: it's shutting down soon.

The park's national tour has been abruptly canceled, with its last show taking place over a three-week run in Philadelphia.

Deadline reports no official explanation for the cancellation, but does confirm refunds will be issued to those who purchased tickets ahead of time.

The $30 million Marvel endeavor from Marvel Entertainment, Hero Ventures, Michael Cohl, and Jeremiah J. Harris traveled to Phoenix, Dallas, and San Diego before its final showing in Philadelphia.

Downey’s Whopping Avengers 2 and Civil War Payday

Iron Man actor Robert Downey Jr. has made a whole lot of money from his role as the Marvel Comics superhero in 2015, reportedly raking in a whopping $80 million for his work on Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron and Captain America: Civil War.

According to Forbes, this makes Downey Jr. the eighth highest-paid celebrity of 2015, just behind author James Patterson, who's earned $89 million.

Age of Ultron was released earlier this year to much success. Meanwhile, the third Captain America movie isn't slated to hit theaters until May of next year.

CD Projekt RED Details The Witcher 3’s Latest Patch

CD Projekt RED is currently finishing up work on the next patch for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which is releasing on all three platforms very soon.

There won't be any free DLC this week, however, as the developer is putting the bulk of its focus on getting Patch 1.07 out in as timely a fashion as possible. That said, the steady stream of free content will resume next week.

CD Projekt won't be releasing the full list of patch notes until later this week, but here's a brief overview of some of the key changes that will be coming in the update:
