SPECTRE: First TV Spot Unveiled

Sony Pictures Entertainment and Eon Productions have unveiled the first TV spot for SPECTRE, the 24th James Bond film.

The 60-second clip of SPECTRE showcases Daniel Craig's Bond delving into his past, encountering Christoph Waltz's villain Franz Oberhauser, piloting an airplane and fighting enemies on a snow-covered mountain.

Directed by Sam Mendes, SPECTRE is set to hit the silver screen November 6.

What to Expect from Cap: Civil War’s Licensed Gear

During the Licensing Expo 2015 in Las Vegas, Disney revealed the licencees they would be working with to create products tied in with the upcoming film Captain America: Civil War.

Variety reports new apparel, accessories, footwear, toys, electronics, costumes, and more will be produced by a range of companies. These companies include Hasbro, LEGO, Funko, Hot Wheels, and Kellogg's, among others. Civil War licensed products are expected to become available approximately eight weeks before the film's opening.

Much of the licensed products will turn its focus toward newer characters such as Vision, Falcon, War Machine, and Black Panther. Adult women's apparel will also be a big focus of their licensing efforts, as will the character of Black Widow.

With E3 2015 nearly upon us, we’re finishing off our series by taking a look at what the major third-party publishers will be bringing to gaming’s biggest event of the year. From Bethesda and EA, to Ubisoft and Square-Enix, the best of the rest are primed to deliver a whole mess of great games.

He-Man, G.I. Joe Coming to Toy Soldiers: War Chest

A number of '80s action cartoon icons will be joining the fray in Toy Soldiers: War Chest this summer.

Wielding the power of Grayskull, He-Man and the heroes of Eternia will be a playable army in Ubisoft's tower defense action game, along with G.I. Joe's Duke and a group of his soldiers. Both armies will be armed with unique weapons and feature a number of abilities. Ubisoft promises two more licensed armies will be announced at a later date.

A number of original armies will be playable in Toy Soldiers as well, including the cute-but-deadly StarBright, the tough sci-fi commander Phantom and her Ghost Company, the ruthless Dark Lord, and the WWI general Kaiser.

Toy Soldiers: War Chest is a tower defense action game in which an army of toys faces off against another army in an effort to defend their toybox. It will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC sometime this summer in two editions. The Hall of Fame edition will cost $30 and include all four licensed and original armies, while the standard edition will include all four original armies, with individual licensed armies available for $5 or all four for $15. The Witcher 3’s Latest Patch for Xbox One Available Now

The latest update for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is now available to those on Xbox One.

Dubbed Patch 1.04, this massive update adds a number of fixes to the game, including improvements to its overall technical performance, as well as XP bug fixes, and an increased text size, which makes navigating the menu much easier.

Last week, both those on PC and PlayStation 4 were treated to the latest patch, so Xbox One gamers can now rejoice in knowing they too now have an updated experience.

CD Projekt RED has released the entire list of patch notes, which detail numerous tweaks and changes, not the least of which include an improved camera, price rebalancing, and the removal of autosaves when the player dies.

Mirror’s Edge Catalyst Box Art Revealed

Box art for DICE's upcoming Mirror's Edge Catalyst has been revealed for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The cover, posted on Amazon UK, depicts Faith Connors, parkour master and protagonist of both games, kneeling on a ledge in her iconic get-up.

The Amazon UK listing doesn't reveal an exact release date yet, but we know the game is slated for sometime in 2016.

Hearthstone Patch Introduces New Tavern Brawl Mode

The new Hearthstone 2.7 patch is coming soon, and it will bring a series of changes with it.

Most notably Tavern Brawl, an all-new gameplay mode in which players compete in matches with unique rules governing the play. Blizzard notes in a blog post this could mean minions get specific buffs, players are given preset decks, and decks are crafted based on specific rules, among others. This mode was recently teased on Twitter.

Tavern Brawls can be played with friends or random online opponents. It's recommended that anyone interested in doing a Tavern Brawl make sure they go in prepared for challenging matches, as the mode unlocks once a player gets a hero to level 20.
