Destiny: Bungie is Working on Multiple Raids
Something Destiny is praised for the most are the six player cooperative missions known as Raids and it seems Bungie has a few more in the works.
During a recent studio visit, Bungie confirmed with IGN that Other Raids are currently in development, though they will not be included with a purchase of House of Wolves.
When asked about the images stating that a Raid would be included with the House of Wolves, Bungie was adamant that this DLC would not include a Raid.
Matt Sammons, Lead Designer on House of Wolves, said, "The in-game for House of Wolves consists of Prison of Elders, Trials of Osiris, and that’s all. There are Raids being worked on still, but we’re not talking about them today."
Destiny’s Prison of Elders Aims to Please PvE Players
If you’ve ever played Halo’s Firefight mode or Horde in Gears of War, then the Prison of Elders is going to be rather familiar looking. Familiarity isn’t a bad thing though – I still came out of our gameplay session with a smile from ear to ear. Great gameplay, coupled with beautifully destroyed locations and a community of supportive players made the Prison we were thrust into a joy to experience.
The Prison of Elders melds Strike missions, damage modifiers, and objective based gameplay together to bring us into a place where ”the most nefarious enemies in the galaxy are held prisoner.” You and two other players will arrive at this location in a dark and dingy room with four doors where a modifier notification will eventually pop up on your screen before a door opens revealing a large Servitor and your challenge. Once you enter the room you’ve been assigned, you’ll fight waves of either the Hive, Fallen, Vex, or Cabal while being given secondary objectives and avoiding landmines strewn throughout the level. These secondary objectives can consist of blowing up bombs by shooting them, disarming bombs by standing near them, or killing an enemy before he reaches his destination. Thankfully, these secondary objectives stop the mode from becoming a ‘hide in the corner and shoot everything’ mission. They’ll force your group out of your comfort zone and make you go to different areas of the map, but you’ll usually return to a spot that you’ve made “safe” – or at least as safe as you possibly can when 40 enemies are all around you.
GTA 5 Mod Turns NPCs Violent
Grand Theft Auto 5 managed to make its playerbase's need to cause as much chaos as possible somewhat canon with Trevor's rampage missions, but that doesn't mean we can't take even that to the next level.
The Pedestrian Riot/Chaos Mode mod in Grand Theft Auto 5 is similar to Grand Theft Auto 3's Everybody Hates You cheat, turning all pedestrians into an armed, homicidal mob.
Customization options let you change how many rioters there are, what kind of weapons they have, and how accurate they are with those weapons.
Joss Whedon Explains Why He Quit Twitter
Earlier this week, Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron director Joss Whedon deleted his Twitter account, spurring a whirlwind of speculation as to why he did it. And while the filmmaker seemed content to leave the matter alone, there was one theory -- that he was chased off social media by militant feminists angered by his film's depiction of Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) -- that prompted him to set the record straight.
"That is horses***," Whedon told BuzzFeed News in an interview on Tuesday. "Believe me, I have been attacked by militant feminists since I got on Twitter. That's something I'm used to. Every breed of feminism is attacking every other breed, and every subsection of liberalism is always busy attacking another subsection of liberalism, because God forbid they should all band together and actually fight for the cause.
Check Out the New Ant-Man Poster
Marvel's smallest superhero Ant-Man gets a big new poster ahead of his July feature film debut.
Disney officially released the payoff one-sheet (seen below) today, which is perhaps less comedic-looking than some might have expected given the lighthearted tone of the latest trailer.
You may notice the poster also features supporting players Michael Pena and Bobby Canavale in addition to our main trio of protagonists and Corey Stoll's villain.
Hannibal: ‘Bride of Hannibal’ Season 3 Trailer
Feast your eyes on this brand new Hannibal: Season 3 trailer - focusing on what looks to be a new, romantic alignment between Mads Mikkelsen's Dr. Lecter and Gillian Anderson's Dr. Bedelia Du Maurier.
As you recall, Bedelia was last scene at the very end of the Season 2 finale, accompanying a fugitive Hannibal on a plane ride out of the country. What will this new union hold for us viewers? We'll have to find out on June 4th when Season 3 premieres!

Star Wars hit theaters on May 25 and became an instant global phenomenon. It legitimized sci-fi filmmaking, paving the way for dozens of sci-fi classics over the next four decades. Along with Jaws, it set the prototype for the summer blockbuster, changing moviemaking forever. Rock Band 4 Rewards Singers for Awesome Improv
I am basically tone-deaf, and a night of karaoke with me is nightmare fuel. But I don’t care: I love singing in Rock Band, and I want to get better so I can take advantage of Rock Band 4’s new improvisational vocals.
Rock Band 4 embraces a much more “live” element from top to bottom. Its Gigs feature is a light way to engage with your bandmates in-game and between songs; authored fills keep drummers on their toes while giving the impression that this is their version of a given song. Vocal improv is a singer-centric feature that lets talented folks with impressive pipes to lend their voice to a song in a way an exhausted or excited live performer might.
Sony Will Not Hold a Gamescom Press Conference in 2015
Sony has confirmed it will not be holding a press conference at Gamescom 2015, and will instead announce new titles later in the year at Paris Games Week.
A Sony spokesperson has told IGN the decision was made due to the proximity of E3 and Gamescom, before emphasising a more meaningful event could be held during October's Paris Games Week.
"We're delighted to announce that we will be hosting an international media briefing at Paris Games Week on 27th October," they said. "With the changes this year of E3 taking place a week later and Gamescom taking place earlier, we feel that both PlayStation and the wider industry would benefit from a major news milestone later in the year, during the most important period for gaming.
