Fear the Walking Dead Begins Production

Fear the Walking Dead has started production in Vancouver.

While the pilot for The Walking Dead spinoff series has already been shot, AMC has begun production on the other five episodes for the first season. In addition to Vancouver, there also will be filming in Los Angeles.

“Fear the Walking Dead takes us back to the earlier, more dangerous, more terrifying days of The Walking Dead,” said Walking Dead creator and TV show executive producer Robert Kirkman. “A time when danger was lurking around every corner and the thing mostly likely to get you killed was your own ignorance of the rapidly changing world around you."

Set in Los Angeles, Fear the Walking Dead stars Kim Dickens (Gone Girl, Sons of Anarchy), Cliff Curtis, Frank Dillane, Alycia Debnam-Carey (The 100), Elizabeth Rodriguez (Orange is the New Black) and Mercedes Mason. Co-exeutive producer Adam Davidson is directing the first three episodes of the spinoff show, and David Erickson is serving as the showrunner.

FOX Developing “Another Version” of 24

FOX executives confirmed today that a new take on 24 is in development.

"We have been developing another version of 24, but it's still fairly early in the development process," said Gary Newman, FOX's co-chairmen/CEO, in a conference call for press this morning. "So there just would be nothing we can tell you at this time other than we are working on something."

Not much else is known about the project at this time. However, earlier this year, FOX Co-Chairmen/CEO Dana Walden said it's a "possibility" star Kiefer Sutherland won't be involved with the next installment of 24. "We're not talking about continuing the show without him," she elaborated. "We're talking about whether there is one installment that he's not in."

Frontier Development recently announced that Steam keys will be given to all players who purchased copies of Elite Dangerous through their online store.

"We always appreciate it when you buy direct from our store because it means we can put more into supporting and developing Elite: Dangerous," their announcement reads, "but we know a number of long-time players and backers like to play through Steam and we think it’s fair everyone has that option, not just new players."

Starting May 28, players can generate a Steam key on their account page. Frontier has worked with Valve to make sure accounts will carry over, and Kickstarter backers will also be able to claim keys. More information will be made on Elite Dangerous' official forums as it approaches.
