Fire Emblem If Revising the Weapon Balance

Fire Emblem If will be the first game since the series' debut to make major revisions to its weapon balancing.

The Japanese magazine Famitsu (via Gematsu) explained the changes. Throughout the series, swords have been strong against axes, axes against lances, and lances against swords. Fire Emblem If will put a wrinkle in it by introducing pairs of weapons that trump other pairs, for a greater variety of weapon types.

Now, swords and magic will beat axes and bows, axes and bows will beat lances and concealed weapons, and lances and concealed weapons will beat swords and magic. Weapon durability is also going to be removed in Fire Emblem If, so only staves will limit you to a certain number of uses.

Mad Max: Fury Road Would Have Starred Heath Ledger

However, Ledger's death in 2008 meant Miller would never get his wish. "The world lost someone great when he went," he added. "Tom

Xbox Boss Is Still Betting on Kinect

Xbox Boss Phil Spencer says the value of Kinect will have to be earned through experiences, and still considers the peripheral an important part of the Xbox One landscape moving forward.

Speaking with GamesRadar, Spencer says the fact that Upload Studio 2.0 was designed with a Kinect green-screen feature is just one example which shows it's still on the minds of Microsoft engineers. "We’ll continue to build functionality to make it a valuable part of the ecosystem," Spencer says.

However, he did reiterate that the unbundling of Kinect from the Xbox One was also a crucial move that had to happen.
