Batman v Superman Trailer Confirmed

Yesterday, a rumor leaked that director Zack Snyder will be debuting a five-second tease on Thursday of his highly anticipated trailer for his even more highly anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. That tease, it was reported, would then lead to an online sign-up process for fans that would result in the debut of the full trailer on theaters on Monday. And now, the second part of that rumor at least has been confirmed.

Variety's sources say that IMAX will debut the first full-length trailer for Batman v Superman on Monday in "some of its theaters." Whether or not the five-second tease that was said to be happening tomorrow at 9am PT is still in the cards is unclear. The trade site reports that the Celebration Cinema theater in Grand Rapids, Michigan, revealed the trailer debut, calling it “Batman vs Superman IMAX Trailer Event” with a running time of 15 minutes. (The theater's web page appears to have been taken down since posting that 15-minute run time, but we can assume that number is not indicative of the actual trailer length.)

Daredevil Showrunner Discusses Big Spoilers and Season 2

If you're one of the many who binged all of Marvel's Daredevil: Season 1 this season, you know there's plenty to talk about from those 13 episodes. Now that we've seen it all, we sat down with showrunner/executive producer Steven S. DeKnight for an in-depth, spoiler-packed conversation about all the big events in Season 1. DeKnight discusses how some of the show's most notable plot points came to be, comments on notable Easter eggs and gives us tidbits about where things might go in the future, including with Daredevil villains who may or may not have been hinted at in Season 1.

Regarding that future, we also chat about whether we might see a potential Season 2 sooner than later, given we know Netflix have several other Marvel series planned (including Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron First), before all the characters team up in the Defenders series. But does that mean we need to wait for all those to be complete to see another season of Daredevil? Watch the video above to see what DeKnight has to say about that and much more.

Star Wars Celebration: 9 Reasons to Get Excited

Star Wars Celebration kicks off this week at the Anaheim Convention Center, and from April 16-19, IGN will be covering everything from Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Star Wars Rebels to the upcoming Star Wars: Battlefront and the future of the universe's ever-expanding lore.

Celebration is going to be huge, so expect tons of news, videos, and impressions as we discover the exciting future of the franchise. Before the show, let's run down the 9 biggest reasons to get excited for Star Wars Celebration.

In-between installments of the new Episode VII, VIII and IX trilogy, we're getting two stand-alone Star Wars movies - Rogue One from Gareth Edwards (Monster, Godzilla) and an untitled project from Josh Trank (Chronicle, Fantastic Four). The two directors will share the stage at Celebration to discuss their projects and hopefully give us some new information. Perhaps additional casting for Rogue One, beyond the announced Felicity Jones, and a plot outline? And maybe a title for Trank's project, at the least? We'll find out on Sunday!

Wonder Woman Reportedly Finds New Director

Director Patty Jenkins is reportedly set to helm Wonder Woman for Warner Bros.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. has "closed a deal" with Jenkins to take over the superhero film. Michelle MacLaren was originally helming Wonder Woman, but she left the project earlier this week because of creative differences.

This isn't the first time Jenkins has been attached to a blockbuster superhero movie. She was originally announced as the director of Thor: The Dark World before dropping out because of (you guessed it) creative differences.

3 Screens Make GTA 5 Even More Immersive

Among the many features stuffed into the PC version of GTA 5 is support for multi-monitor setups (up to three max). We’re not done with the game yet—not by far—so for fun, we decided to switch from playing it in 4K to rocking three 2560x1600 displays at the same time.

If you haven’t done a multi-monitor setup before, the software that pairs with today’s GPUs make it super simple. In fact, moving and plugging in the three HP ZR30w displays we used took longer than getting GTA 5 to treat them as a single monitor. For the Titan X video card we put inside one of our Red Squadron PCs, all we had to do was go into the Nvidia Control Panel, click on the “Configure Surround, PhysX” option, check the box for “Span displays with Surround,” then load the game and change our settings to a fullscreen resolution of 7680x1600.

Bloodborne Item Makes the Game Harder Without Telling You

You may have been playing Bloodborne in hard more without realizing it.

The Hand Lantern – a cheap light source that (ironically) frees up your hands for weapons – actually reduces the speed of your stamina regeneration without telling you. Check out the in-game description in the image below.

Stamina, if you don't know, is the resource used to attack, dodge, sidestep, and generally do things. It's very, very important.

Why Doesn’t Sailor Moon Have a New Video Game?

Bandai Namco Entertainment publishes numerous video games based on anime, including Naruto, One Piece, and Dragon Ball, but why haven’t they tackled making a modern Sailor Moon game?

“It really comes down to us being able to develop a compelling game that treats the Sailor Moon franchise the right way and we’d want to know that fans would support the game,” Tak Miyazoe, Senior Manager and IP Strategy at Bandai Namco told IGN. “ There are other factors that go into us deciding what we can and can’t make, but these two items would be some of the bigger questions we ask ourselves before diving into a project.”

Here’s When You Can Play Godzilla on PS4

Godzilla the Game will be coming to PlayStation 3 and PS4 on July 14, Bandai Namco Games has just announced.

In addition to the launch date reveal, the Japanese publisher also pulled back the curtain on an assortment of monsters that will be making their way into the game, including Jet Jaguar, Mecha Godzilla, Destroyah, King Ghidorah, and Gigan. Plus, those on PS4 will get Space Godzilla as a platform exclusive.

And that's not the only thing unique to the PlayStation 4 version, as those on Sony's new-gen console will be able to battle with three monsters instead of just two. Fans of the old films will also be pleased to know the game will include plenty of nods to the movie franchise from which it draws inspiration.
