Olivia Munn May Have Revealed Her Psylocke Costume
Just days after it was revealed that she had been cast as Psylocke in X-Men: Apocalypse, actress Olivia Munn took to social media to show off what might be her costume for the movie.
In a posting on her Instagram account, Munn captioned the photo, "If the latex fits…"
While that's not definitive proof it's Munn costume in the movie, the design certainly suggests it's her Psylocke wardrobe.
2 Familiar Faces to Return for Independence Day Sequel
Both Bill Pullman and Judd Hirsch will be returning for the upcoming Independence Day sequel, director Roland Emmerich has confirmed.
Emmerich made the announcement in a pair of posts on Twitter, each of which accompanied by a photo of the actor in his respective role from the original film. Here's a look at Hirsch, who played Julius Levinson in ID4.
Princess Leia Wreaks Havoc On-Stage
Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia) took the stage at Star Wars Celebration during her panel today, and while she didn't answer too many big questions or make any major announcements, she did put on quite the performance.
Fisher, accompanied by her French Bulldog, Gary, talked everything from Princess Leia's iconic hair taking two hours to style in the mornings, to the time she and Harrison Ford partied with the Rolling Stones at Monty Python comedian Eric Idle's house.
Star Wars Battlefront Novel Coming in November
In the wake of numerous Star Wars announcements, news emerged about a Star Wars Battlefront novel called Twilight Company.
Twitter user Le Jedi Lorrain Tweeted a placeholder image for the book's cover. It's set for a Nov. 3 release date from Del Rey Books, which also posted an image for the project on Instagram. Alexander Freed, writer for Dark Horse Comic's Star Wars: The Old Republic and former writer for Mass Effect developer BioWare, is penning the novel.
Lucas Till Will Return as Havok in X-Men: Apocalypse
Director Bryan Singer confirmed via Twitter today that actor Lucas Till will reprise his role as Havok in X-Men: Apocalypse.
Till played Havok in both X-Men: First Class and X-Men: Days of Future Past, the latter of which saw Havok serving in the Vietnam War as a military test subject for then-Major William Stryker.
It should be noted that Singer has previously said that, although they are brothers in the Marvel comics, Havok and Cyclops aren't siblings in the movies. Tye Sheridan (Mud) will play young Cyclops in the 1980s-set X-Men: Apocalypse.
What’s a Smoldering Star Destroyer Doing on Tatooine?
If you haven't see the Star Wars Battlefront trailer, rectify that now:
Below is an analysis of that trailer combined with the 7 minute-gameplay demo (running on a PS4) IGN saw behind-closed doors at Star Wars Celebration, and of course, the usual sprinkling of speculation.
00:02 – A Star Destroyer looms over the forest moon of Endor. From speaking to Patrick Bach, we know we won't be able to pilot them, so it's probably just there to lend atmosphere and a sense of scale to battles, though towards the end of the trailer there's a suggestion it might be more directly involved.
Ray Park Wants a Darth Maul Standalone Film
Ray Park took the stage at Star Wars Celebration today to talk about his experiences playing that master of the double-bladed lightsaber, Darth Maul. He spent some time showing off his martial arts and saber moves, of course, while also recollecting about shooting The Phantom Menace. But when Q&A time came, Park was inevitably asked about Darth Maul getting his own standalone movie.
Park, not surprisingly, said he’d be totally down for such a project.
“I would love to be disciplined, like not eat anything for four months, and be shredded and do the whole tattoo body effect like you see in the comics and the novels,” he said. “I’d love to do that!”
And it seems the actor has an idea how Maul might’ve survived his Phantom Menace run-in with Obi-Wan Kenobi, combining the Clone Wars TV series and some Expanded Universe concepts.

Blizzard is Removing a Feature from Diablo 3
Blizzard has begun the process of removing Rift Trials from Diablo III, one of the game's designers said on a recent Twitch broadcast.
Rift trials compose a mini-game in which players fight waves of enemies for increasing rewards –– the longer players survive, the better the Greater Rift key they receive, which grants access to higher-level rifts (endgame content with better rewards). But according to Wyatt Cheng, Blizzard senior technical game designer, nobody likes the tedious rift trials.
"The Trials are not good," he said during a Twitch broadcast, which Reddit user jmdbcool transcribed. "We don't like them. I don't like them." Cheng said the rift trials were a necessary part of Diablo III's evolution, but that their time is nearing its end.
