See The Vision Wrecking Everything

David Brevik obviously knows action RPGs. Heck, he helped shape the genre as we know it as a principal member of the team that gave us Diablo 2. His own game, known now as Marvel Heroes 2015, had a rocky start, but is looking much better these days, particularly when mucking about as The Vision in the new Age of Ultron content David and his team have cooked up.

Yes, Vision is the newest playable character making their Marvel Heroes 2015 debut and I got a full demonstration of his power set from the developers themselves. Like his comic-book counterpart, Vision's power set is diverse and powerful.

As you'd hope, he has a line of skills that revolve around his solar jewel, mostly the kind that fry lots of Ultron's cronies at once. It's fun and flashy, but it's still the least interesting thing about The Vision. Where he gets really interesting is with his hacking and density manipulation abilities.

The X-Files: Mitch Pileggi Confirms His Return as Skinner

Mitch Pileggi recently took to Twitter to confirm his return as FBI Assistant Director Walter Skinner in Fox's upcoming X-Files revival.

"Very happy to announce that Walter Skinner will once again be getting all grumpy and bitchy with his two wayward kids," Pileggi wrote. "Very happy."

The confirmation comes after David Duchovny appeared on The Late Show and mentioned Pileggi would be reprising his role as Skinner. Duchovny also said we'll see more of William B. Davis' Cigarette Smoking Man.

Here’s What’s Leaving Netflix in May

Here's everything that's set to leave Netflix in May. And if you're like us, this type of "heads up" also serves as a nice reminder that these movies and TV shows were on Netflix to begin with (The Secret of NIMH?).

The Airplane! films are on their way out, along with Skyfall, Romancing the Stone (and its sequel Jewel of the Nile), A Knight's Tale, BASEketball, Robocop, Ninja Turtles II and many more.

Total War: Warhammer Officially Revealed with Trailer

SEGA and Creative Assembly have officially announced Total War: Warhammer for PC, Mac and SteamOS.

The latest entry in the long-running Total War franchise originally leaked back in January, but now we have more details on the game as well as a debut cinematic trailer. There's no news on a release date as yet.

Total War: Warhammer will apparently change the rules of the series as it takes place in a setting of high fantasy for the first time, with monsters, flying creatures, heroes and storms of magic all appearing on the battlefield. The real-time battles and turn-based sandbox campaigns the series is famed for will be returning, naturally, while races mentioned include the men of the Empire, Orcs and Goblins, Dwarfs and Vampire Counts.

New Overlord Trailer Spills Gameplay Details

Overlord has a brand new trailer, and with it, some new details about how this version differs from previous entries.

The trailer itself, titled Previously on Overlord, brings players who haven’t played any of the series up to speed, while also offering a reminder for everyone else. What’s interesting is in the final moments of the video.

“Evil has a new face. Well, uh, four actually,” the voiceover proclaims as we get a brief glimpse of four unfamiliar villains. Furthermore, just moments after the character reveals, there’s also a glimpse at the game in action, which appears to be a top-down action game, possibly with co-op?

15 Coolest Times the Avengers Have Assembled

While audiences are expecting quite a bit to happen in Avengers: Endgame, comic fans are hoping to see, or rather hear, one thing in particular: Captain America saying the iconic rallying phrase, "Avengers assemble!" The first time the Avengers formed on-screen during the Battle of New York, Cap didn't need to say the words because the circle-round shot did a superb job showing the team assembling, so it would've been overkill to say it, director Joss Whedon explained at the time. While Whedon withheld the signature call-to-arms with the best of intentions then, he outright trolled fans at the end of Age of Ultron when the film abruptly ended just as the words were about to leave Cap's lips. Now, with one Avengers film left to go before Chris Evans reportedly departs the role, what better time for Cap to finally deliver the goods?

Hi-Rez Studios Teases New Smite Arena

Smite's incredibly popular Arena game mode is due for a facelift, developer Hi-Rez Studios has revealed.

Speaking with IGN, the team behind the third-person, action-based MOBA has teased a forthcoming update that will spruce up the Thunderdome-esque setting. The first concept image for the new arena appears to pull heavily from Roman architecture and themes reminiscent of The Colosseum.

"We did a complete visual overhaul of the Arena map including all new themed buff camp NPCs and minions," said Hi-Rez Studios Environmental Art Director Thomas Holt. "Everything in the map from the portals to the crowds has been completely redone to improve quality and better support the mode's game play and theming."
