Neil Patrick Harris Doubts He’ll Host Oscars Again
After hosting the 87th Annual Academy Awards to mixed reviews, Neil Patrick Harris says he's doubtful he'll be returning to the Oscar hosting gig anytime soon.
"I don’t know that my family nor my soul could take it," said Harris in an interview with the Huffington Post. "It’s a beast. It was fun to check off the list, but for the amount of time spent and the understandable opinionated response, I don’t know that it's a delightful balance to do every year or even again."
While the How I Meet Your Mother star has successfully hosted the Tony Awards and Emmy Awards in the past, he faced some lackluster reviews for his stint as Oscar host. "
Next Destiny Update to Address Item Transfer Problems
Bungie's next Destiny update will address issues with the Destiny Companion app, as well as problems Xbox players are experiencing with their Bungie.net profiles.
After last week's update to the Destiny Companion app, players began reporting WEASEL errors when trying to transfer items while playing the game. Bungie said this issue has been addressed, and that fewer players should experience this problem when playing Destiny.
Additionally, players have reported losing items when transferring them using the Companion app. Bungie said it is looking into this problem –– in the meantime, the developer asks that players check each of their characters' inventories for missing items, and to use caution when transferring items during countdown timers and map load-ins.

Squidding Around and Making A Mess In Splatoon
I can't deny it: when I Splatoon was unveiled at E3 last year, I found it hard to match the enthusiasm shown by much of Nintendo's faithful. Without getting my hands on it, the concept sounded novel...perhaps a little too novel. But now that I've played it, and seen how immediately fun, and deceptively smart Platoon is, I can understand why people were so excited, and why there was a 2+ hour wait time to play it on the show floor.
The first thing that sets Splatoon immediately apart from other multiplayer arena shooters, is that kills and deaths don't really matter - at least not in the usual, immediate sense. It doesn't matter ow good your K/D is, or how long of a kill streak you're on if you aren't covering every surface in sight with your team's paint color. This one simple concept fundamentally changes your approach dramatically. You aren't looking for enemies to kill, you're scanning the mini-map to find areas that need painting, and wherever blue paint meets orange paint, you can almost always expect a firefight to happen. This is one of the ways that Splatoon keeps you moving, and in the action. There's no wandering around in search of an engagement; there's always someplace that needs a new coat of paint.
Game of Thrones: Tyrion Lannister’s Best Quotes
Spoilery things for the first four seasons of Game of Thrones...
With Game of Thrones: Season 5 just a little more than a month away from its April 12th premiere, it's time to start the countdown clock. And we thought we'd kick things off with some sneaky, snarky Tyrion Lannister action. And it's fitting now to look back at some of his best gold coins of wit and wisdom in Westeros considering that in the Season 4 finale we saw him get the hell out of dodge.
IGN Celebrates Take Your Action Figure to Work Day
Today is Take Your Action Figure to Work Day where people are encouraged to post a picture of their favorite toy at work using the #AFWD2015 hastag.
Never heard of it? Don't worry, it only started last year. It all began when Randall Hamm took his Variant New Teen Titans White Raven to work with him and photographed their day together -- "White Raven senses I need more coffee." -- and it wasn't long before the pictures and the hashtag went viral not just in the US but all over the world. It may be a new geeky holiday, but it's one we're proud to stand behind and spread to the masses.
School Boy in Trouble for 50 Shades Costume
An 11-year-old boy in Britain whipped school officials into a frenzy when he came to class dressed as Christian Grey from Fifty Shades of Grey, complete with, um, toys.
Liam Scholes has been barred from taking part in Sale High School's World Book Day Celebrations -- where students are encouraged to come to school that day dressed as their favorite literary character -- because he showed up dressed as the BDSM-loving billionaire protagonist of the erotic bestseller-turned-blockbuster movie.
School officials deemed Liam's outfit -- seen below in a photo tweeted by his mum -- "inappropriate," according to the BBC.
Seasons After Fall Coming to Xbox One and PS4
The beautiful exploration platformer, Seasons After Fall, is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC in early 2016.
Seasons After Fall stars a little fox that finds itself in a world filled with magic. It’s not yet clear how the fox ended up in the mysterious world or why it has powers over the seasons, but it is tasked with helping the Spirits of Seasons with their troubles.
At a GDC 2015 demo event, Seasons After Fall developer Benoit Fouletier said that there won’t be a fail state or combat, but Seasons after Fall instead features puzzles and emphasizes exploration.
Though the demo was hands-off, the puzzles I saw made great use of the power to control the seasons. Shifting between the seasons not only alters the look of the world, but can also cause certain plants to grow, alter wind patterns, and change sunlight.
