The Mountain from Game of Thrones Breaks New Record

Hafthor Bjornsson, who you might know best as Ser Gregor Clegane or "The Mountain" in Game of Thrones, has broken another international strongman record.

According to CNN's Bleacher Report, Bjornsson performed a world record throw at the 2015 Arnold Sports Festival, tossing a 56-pound kettlebell 19 feet and three inches into the air using just one arm.

According to his Instagram account, this broken record came after a shaky start: "I did an awful mistake in the deadlift which cost me alot of points! Yesterday made me feel a little bit better though. I did a weight for height event on the main stage. I went over 19'3 with a 56lbs weight and that is a New World Record!!"

Gamers Have Spent 12,000 Years in The Sims 4

Electronic Arts has released a new infographic featuring fun facts on its series The Sims.

According to the EA blog post, Sims players have created over 32 million Sims since the September 2014 launch of The Sims 4, with 107 million hours of gameplay - that's 12,000 years - racked up.

Cheekily, the infographic also suggests that Sim characters may have it better than those of us in the real world: apparently Sims engage in "woohoo" four times as much as real-life married couples, and there are far fewer Sim divorcees in comparison to reality as well.

You can check out the full infographic below.

Netflix Plays House of Cards on an NES

What if you could watch House of Cards on an original NES? Are you a bad enough dude to rescue President Underwood? A team of Netflix engineers recently decided to find out during the company's annual Netflix Hack Day, managing to get the streaming service running on a supposedly un-modded NES.

According to the video, the NES contains a cart and the two engineers side-scroll through the list of titles, including House of Cards and Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. Near the end of the bit, the opening of House of Cards runs in a beautifully pixelated smattering of blue and grey.
