Lucas Books announced today that Star Wars: Aftermath -- one of the 20 tie-in books set to be released this fall in the lead-up to the December release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens -- will detail what happened after the Battle of Endor in Return of the Jedi. As its cover warns, "the war is not over."

"Aftermath will be the first book in a trilogy that begins to bridge the Star Wars timeline between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens," said StarWars.com, adding that readers "will be introduced to a sweeping new cast of characters, along with a fan favorite from the films."

Steam Now Requires Disclosure of Paid Endorsements

A clause in the newly-released Steam User Agreement now requires people to disclose when they have been given compensation for promotions or endorsements.

Located in section 6, paragraph C of the agreement, the new addition reads as follows:

"If you use Steam services (e.g. the Steam Curators’ Lists or the Steam Broadcasting service) to promote or endorse a product, service or event in return for any kind of consideration from a third party (including non-monetary rewards such as free games), you must clearly indicate the source of such consideration to your audience."

Valve added a similar rule to their Terms of Service back in 2014, making Steam Curators disclose if they had been paid by a developer to put games in their lists.

5 Things to Stream if You Liked The Jinx

The season finale of HBO’s true-crime documentary series The Jinx turned into a unique conflux of must-watch television and breaking news this past Sunday. As word came that series subject and alleged triple-murderer Robert Durst was arrested the previous night, the eccentric, captivating Durst also seemingly, if inadvertently, acknowledged his culpability while off-camera in the final moments of the episode. It was a chilling way to end the show.

And it has left us hungry for more of the same. Between the success of NPR’s podcast Serial last fall and now The Jinx, it seems the true crime genre is making something of a comeback. So here are a few similar-minded projects you can check out between now and the inevitable The Jinx: Season 2…

Aquaman Actor May Have Reignited Comic War

Actor Jason Momoa has rekindled an age-old fan war, with some unkind words toward the competing comic book publisher.

Momoa, who is set to play Aquaman in the upcoming DC Comics-based Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, was asked to sign a poster at Indiana Comic Con. The fan asked him to send a message to "DC haters," and the alleged answer speaks for itself:

Momoa hasn't confirmed that he signed the poster, but the rivalry between DC and Marvel is almost as old as the comics publishers themselves.

Google Says They Gave the Wrong Impression with Glass

Today during SXSW, Google X's Astro Teller explained why he believes Google Glass might be perceived by some as a failure.

"The thing that we did not do well is that we allowed, and sometimes even encouraged too much attention to the program," he said.

According to Teller, the exposure to Google Glass through the early adopter-friendly Explorer program gave the wrong impression to its potential consumer base.

"We did things which encouraged people to think of this as a finished product," he said. The Verge reports Google wanted to learn what the social reception would be to the device, which was still in the early days of testing.

Flying Cars Could Get Off The Ground by 2017

At SXSW this week, AeroMobil CEO Juraj Vaculik revealed that the company is aiming to put flying cars in the sky and on the market by as early as 2017.

“We are now scaling up quite fast, building the team, and the plan is that in 2017 we’ll be able to announce the first flying roadster,” Vaculik told CNBC. “The point is not only to showcase that it’s possible to marry together a plane and a car, but to really commercialize it.”

According to the report, AeroMobil's first model will be a two-seater with a top air speed of 124 miles per hour and the ability to take off and land on grass.

The vehicle will be marketed toward luxury car and aircraft buyers with a price tag to match. Vaculik says the AeroMobil will likely cost a "couple of hundred thousand" euros.
