Nintendo Believes Mobile Games Will Lead to More Console Fans
Nintendo president and CEO Satoru Iwata believes that Nintendo intellectual property introduced to users through its deal with Japanese mobile provider DeNa will lead to new interest in Nintendo's dedicated gaming systems.
In an interview with Time, Iwata said that Nintendo IP on smart devices will "become an opportunity for the great number of people around the world" who may not own a Wii U or a 3DS to "to be interested in Nintendo IP and eventually to become fans."
Nintendo sees its IP on mobile as bridging the gap between smart devices and its consoles. He believes Nintendo will be able to take advantage of the mobile space in a unique way that will further Nintendo IP as a whole.

As for the title, "The Sword in the Darkness", this is part of the famous vow uttered by all members of the Night's Watch when they're ready to take the black, perhaps revealing where our attentions may be focused in the next chapter.
ESL eSports Documentary Coming July 2015
An eSport documentary will be broadcast during the ESL's seasonal tour, the Intel Extreme Masters, in July 2015.
"All Work All Play: Full Screen Mode Live" - produced by filmmakers from O'Malley Creadon Productions - aims to document the "work and planning that goes into the production of major eSports events". It also promises to showcase interviews with top players and provide insight into what goes on behind-the-scenes for one of the largest eSports tournament organizers in the world.
ESL studios in Burbank, CA will premier the documentary on July 23, with a second screening taking place in Cologne, Germany, on July 28.
“I think this documentary and the broader partnership is symbolic of how far we’ve come," says Ralf Reichert, Managing Director of ESL. "When we started out, I dreamt about us filling stadiums, but I never entertained the idea of filling cinemas. Everyone who works with Intel Extreme Masters here at ESL is passionate about esports and I think this documentary and the development of esports series programming in cinemas is a testament to that growth. I’m very excited to see esports in cinemas for years to come and can guarantee I’ll be the first to buy a ticket.”
Don’t Miss This Week’s Solar Eclipse
A total solar eclipse to set to occur on March 20, and select regions around the globe will be able to view this natural phenomenon.
The best place to view the greatest eclipse will be in the Norwegian Sea, just over 160 miles north of the Faroes, but if that isn't convenient (and for most of us it won't be), there are a select few European locations that will at least offer the opportunity to see a partial eclipse.
Those in Ireland, Great Britain, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Iceland should get a clear view of the moon covering the sun. The best time for those in Europe to witness this scientific marvel will be from 8 to 11am GMT.

Partridge is a well-known car-lover, long-time reader of Top Gear Magazine, and even once fronted a show entitled Crash! Bang! Whallop! What a Video!.
The campaign itself is using the hashtag #HirePartridge, while the statement on the petition's website reads as follows:
