Smash Bros. Fans Don’t Have Long to Wait for Mewtwo DLC

Pokémon fans will be able to play as Mewtwo in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS "pretty soon," according to director Masahiro Sakurai.

At a recent event in Japan, Sakurai said the team is "pretty much done" with the Mewtwo DLC, so gamers don't have long to wait before they're hurling purple balls of psychic energy at their friends in Nintendo's popular fighter.

Back in October of last year, Nintendo announced that owners of both the 3DS and Wii U versions of Super Smash Bros. will be able to download Mewtwo for free. The company later confirmed the character will be available as paid DLC for those who only own a single copy of the game.

God of War’s Kratos Takes the Throne

Gaming Heads collectibles company has unveiled another high-quality addition to their line of statues: a brooding Kratos figure from God of War.

Dubbed "Kratos on the Throne," the figure shows Kratos after he became the God of War, following his winning battle against Ares at the end of the original game.

The entire scene is cast in polystone, with intricate, hand-painted detailing. Kratos is depicted at ¼ scale, meaning that the entire piece is 29 inches tall to the top of the throne.

Interested buyers will be able to select from two editions of this statue. The first is the Regular Edition, featuring Kratos in his usual garb that fans of the game will recognize. The second is the Exclusive Edition, which depicts Kratos in the full Armor of Ares, finished with gold and metallic paints. Both figures are limited to 1250 units and 500 units, respectively.

Perro Aguayo Jr. Dies After Match with Rey Mysterio

Wrestler Perro Aguayo Jr., aka El Hijo del Perro Aguayo, passed away this morning as a result of injuries he sustained during a match at a CRASH event in Tijuana, Mexico.

Aguayo Jr., who was 35, teamed with TNA’s Manik against TNA's Tigre Uno and ex-WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio on Friday night. As of now, it's believed that Aguayo Jr.'s death was caused by cervical spine trauma suffered when Mysterio dropkicked him into the ring ropes - a set up spot for Mysterio's signature "619" move. Aguayo Jr. hit the ropes improperly and was immediately rendered unconscious.

Comparing the Heists in Battlefield: Hardline and GTA Online

Turns out we're excellent at stealth. Seriously. With Battlefield Hardline coming out this week, the podcast crew was invited to a mystery location in Central London to break into a top-secret facility and empty a heavily-guarded vault. We took it far too seriously (apart from Alex who was wearing a bright red hoodie for Comic Relief).

You can see how good we were at clinging to shadows, using sliding doors (not very), and retrieving valuables in the full podcast above or in the video below:

We also talk about how Battlefield's take on Heists compare with those in GTA Online, as well as the massive Nintendo news from earlier in the week and the beautiful PlayStation 4 exclusive Everybody's Gone to the Rapture. As always, that's in addition to the regular nonsense.
