Giant Fireball Passes Over Pittsburgh

A large space rock entered Earth's atmosphere and passed over Pittsburgh Tuesday night.

Approximately two feet in diameter and weighing 500 pounds, NASA reports that the fireball was traveling at a speed of 45,000 miles per hour when it passed by Pittsburgh. It illuminated the sky as it passed over and was eventually lost to sight.

Speculation suggests that meteorites from the rock may be scattered on the ground outside of Kittanning, Pennsylvania.

Some EVO Competitors May Need a New Fight Stick

The official rules for EVO 2015 have been posted, and one rule change could mean Ultra Street Fighter IV fighters will need to purchase new fighting sticks.

On the EVO section of the Shoryuken website, the game version for Ultra Street Fighter IV is listed as "US PlayStation 4." Previous years have seen world-warriors duking it out on the Xbox 360 version of the game. The 2015 rules made clear Mortal Kombat X will be played on PlayStation 4, as well.

According to Shoryuken, "PlayStation 3 was the console of choice early on," for Ultra Street Fighter IV, but the platform of choice shifted to Xbox 360 due to "frequent issues" with the PS3.

Why Just Cause 3 Doesn’t Need Multiplayer

Just Cause 2 was never meant to have multiplayer. Developer Avalanche put exactly zero effort into an online component, which left the community to contribute cooperative/competitive chaos to the open-world game years after its launch. With Just Cause 3, there’s an air of expectation inside the walls of Avalanche. The developers aren’t talking about adding a multiplayer, but I don’t get the impression they want to — because they know the community is bound to do it for them. But is multiplayer even necessary in a series whose success is so intrinsically connected to an individual’s anecdotes?
