Batman Movies Ranked by Their Reviews
The latest incarnation of the Dark Knight hits theaters this weekend with the well-received The LEGO Batman Movie, but how has Batman's cinematic history fared throughout the years?

Thor 3 Director Joins Movie About Michael Jackson’s Chimp
Bubbles, a stop-motion film about Michael Jackson's pet chimpanzee, has found its two directors.
Deadline reports Taika Waititi, who's directing the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok, has signed on to co-direct the movie alongside Mark Gustafson. Isaac Adamson has penned the script, and the story is described as a coming-of-age tale that'll take inspiration from Charlie Kaufman's critically-acclaimed Anomalisa. No release date has been set yet.
Waitit explained his decision to co-helm the film, saying that it's an idea that has fascinated him for quite some time, especially with him being a huge Michael Jackson fan. Waititi wants to make sure Bubbles will be respectful to Jackson's legacy and that it won't be a biopic about the singer and his pet.
Captain America’s “Watergate Moment” Is Coming Soon
After months of cryptic teases, Marvel has finally revealed full details on their upcoming Captain America event comic, Secret Empire. The good news is that Cap fans don't have much longer to wait, as the series will launch with a #0 issue in April.
ABC News confirms that Captain America: Steve Rogers and Captain America: Sam Wilson writer Nick Spencer will be penning Secret Empire. He'll be joined by a rotating team of artists that includes Steve McNiven (Civil War), Andrea Sorrentino (Old Man Logan), Daniel Acuna (Uncanny Avengers) and Leinil Yu (Secret Invasion). Mark Brooks will provide cover art for the series.
Opinion: Batman Should Be Funny
With Batman #16, writer Tom King and artist David Finch kicked off the "I Am Bane" storyline on a surprisingly lighthearted note. Most of the issue unfolded in a Batman-themed fast food restaurant, where a bemused Bruce Wayne looked on as his various sidekicks wolfed down Bat-burgers and French fries with a healthy dose of Jokerized seasoning. It wasn't how many would have predicted the latest violent showdown between Bane and Batman to begin. And that's exactly why that issue worked so well. If Batman #16 and The LEGO Batman Movie have proven anything this month, it's that the franchise really needs an element of humor to counteract all the darkness and violence and brooding.
