The LEGO Batman Movie Easter Eggs
The LEGO Batman Movie is packed with all sorts of Easter eggs and references, and while some are obvious, there’s a surprising amount of deep cuts you might have missed.
Warning: this article contains full spoilers for The LEGO Batman Movie!
Alfred recalls Batman’s history by referring to all of the live-action Batman movies: Batman v Superman, The Dark Knight Rises, The Dark Knight, Batman Begins, Batman and Robin, Batman Forever, Batman Returns, and Batman (1989). All get LEGO-ized as Alfred lists them off, save for 1966’s Batman: The Movie which shows live-action Adam West.
2D Zelda on Switch ‘Definitely a Possibility’
With Nintendo Switch serving as a hybrid system, some might wonder what might happen with the handheld 2D Zelda team.
The Legend of Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma addressed this issue while talking with Game Informer. "The 3DS team and the Wii U team have different approaches to game development, so I don’t necessarily want to combine them and have them think together, but rather have each think about what they can bring to Nintendo Switch from their own perspective," he said.
So does that mean the developers behind The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds are working on a Nintendo Switch game? "Yes, there is definitely a possibility," Aonuma said.
New Spider-Man Comic Goes Back to Basics
Marvel has announced (via Entertainment Weekly) a new monthly Spider-Man comic called Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man. Written by Chip Zdarsky (Star-Lord) and drawn by Adam Kubert (All-New, All-Different Avengers), this series aims to provide readers with a more traditional Spidey status quo while still reflecting current developments in Dan Slott's Amazing Spider-Man.
According to EW, Spectacular will co-exist with Amazing but feature a more familiar New York setting and supporting cast. The series will make its debut in the form of a Free Comic Book Day one-shot in May, with the main series to debut in June.

Thor’s Roommate Darryl Returns in Hilarious New Short Film
Thor is continuing to have a difficult time getting along with his roommate Darryl in the second part of the Thor: Ragnarok mockumentary, Team Thor.
Marvel released a preview of the short film ahead of the Doctor Strange Blu-ray that comes out on February 28, where you can watch the entirety of Team Thor: Part 2. The video focuses on Thor trying to convince Darryl why he doesn't need to work or help pay rent, and that a single Asgardian coin is actually worth a "gazillion human dollars." Watch the clip above.
The first part of Team Thor was released as a special bonus feature on the video release of Captain America: Civil War. Both parts provide a look at what Thor has been up to during Civil War and before his adventure in Thor: Ragnarok, which opens in theaters on November 3, 2017.
Dan Stevens Talks Bringing Legion to Life
David Haller is not the typical character you think of as the lead for a new X-Men show, but he does fit in perfectly with FX's particular brand of anti-hero.
Like his character, Dan Stevens probably isn't the first person you'd think of to play the more obscure Marvel character known as Legion. His best-known role is as Lady Mary's ill-fated love interest on Downton Abbey, and he once again will play a Prince Charming (albeit a flawed one) in Disney's upcoming Beauty and the Beast. But anyone who's seen his turn in The Guest knows he's got a darker side as well, and that's what he's leaning into with Legion.
Everything You Need to Know About Halo Wars 2
If you were one of the many people who thought real-time strategy games couldn’t work on consoles, the original Halo Wars put that notion to rest in 2009. It’s taken the better part of a decade, but the sequel is almost here. That makes it a great time to look back at all the coverage we’ve done on Halo Wars 2 ever since Microsoft first announced the game.
Here’s everything you need to know about Halo Wars 2 ahead of its February 21 launch on Xbox One and Windows 10.
You’d be forgiven if you had lost all hope that a Halo Wars sequel would come out, especially considering developer Ensemble Studios shut down after the game’s launch. That’s why it was a surprise when Microsoft announced at Gamescom 2015 that Halo Wars 2 was, in fact, in the works. With Ensemble gone, Microsoft handed development duties over to Creative Assembly, the company behind the Total War franchise.
Logan: Two New TV Spots and IMAX Poster Revealed
Two new TV spots and an IMAX poster have been released for Hugh Jackman's final Wolverine film, Logan.
The two videos, titled "Last Hope" and "Hero", feature a few new action scenes and provide a better look at the film's main villain Donald Pierce, played by Boyd Holbrook. Check out the TV spots below.
The poster prominently features the film's main characters, including Logan, Professor X, Laura Kinney, and Pierce. It looks and feels like a poster for an old-school Western, with an emphasis on a brown and red color palette.
