Ghost Recon Wildlands Betas Had Over 6 Million Players
Ghost Recon Wildlands' closed and open betas had 6.8 million total players, breaking Ubisoft’s previous beta records, the studio has announced.

Along with the announcement, Ubisoft also released an infographic showcasing some interesting stats from the closed and open betas. For example, 1.2 billion cartel members were eliminated, 2.8 million hours were spent in night vision, and 1.3 million hours were spent flying drones.
New Overwatch Character Orisa Revealed
Overwatch's latest character is a centaur-like tank class hero named Orisa. Blizzard hasn't said when she'll be available in the full game yet, but for now PC players can demo her on Overwatch's public test realm.
According to her official hero page, "Orisa serves as the central anchor of her team, and defends her teammates from the frontline with a protective barrier. She can attack from long range, fortify her own defenses, launch graviton charges to slow and move enemies, and deploy a Supercharger to boost the damage output of multiple allies at once."
Orisa's primary weapon is the Fusion Driver, an automatic projectile cannon. She can also launch a detonatable graviton charge, which slows the movement of nearby enemies and pulls them towards the explosion.

Xbox Boss Shares His Thoughts on Nintendo Switch
Head of Xbox Phil Spencer recently shared his thoughts on Nintendo Switch and explained why Microsoft has yet to release a portable Xbox.
"Our relationship with Nintendo is great," Spencer said on the latest episode of IGN's Xbox show Unlocked, noting he had to opportunity to play Nintendo Switch early and thinks "they've done some really innovative work."
The Xbox boss went on to say he "love
the hardware design" and believes that "anytime Nintendo brings a new product to the gaming market it's good for all of us."
With regard to why there hasn't been a portable Xbox, Spencer said he's "always watching to see what happens," but Microsoft has "looked at phones as dominating that market." He noted that a lot of people currently log into Xbox Live with their iOS and Android devices to connect with friends and play games.

Nintendo Switch: Save Data Cannot Currently Be Transferred
The Nintendo Switch currently has no option to transfer save data from one console to another.
After today's Nintendo Switch day one update, SD card support and online features have both become enabled on the new console, but game saves can only be stored on the console's 32GB internal storage, with no apparent option to transfer them.
In January, Nintendo told Kotaku that all saves would be stored internally, but made no mention of if or how they could be transferred.
In other respects, the console appears to have no problem in managing storage between the two devices. With an SD card inserted, users can choose where to download games themselves, and screenshots (another function added in today's update) can be transferred freely in the Data Management menu. Save data, however, can only be deleted, not moved or copied.

Switch: Friend Codes Still Required to Add Some Players
Nintendo has released its Day One update ahead of the Switch console's release tomorrow, and one element is a bit of throwback - friend codes are still mandatory to add online friends in some circumstances.
As seen in the screenshot of the console's Add Friend menu below, there are several methods for adding friends - including through a local connection, past online play, and existing friends on Nintendo's smartphone apps.
However, at time of writing, the only method of adding a friend online who you haven't had contact with previously is by using the 12-digit code applied to your Nintendo account - you cannot add a friend by searching for a username or another similar method.
