Why Obi-Wan Should Get His Own Movie
Obi-Wan Kenobi. The Jedi. The Myth. The Legend. When we first met the character in Star Wars: A New Hope, he was the crazy old wizard who lived on Tatooine and watched over Luke Skywalker. He was grizzled and, like most things on the desert planet, he was covered in a fine layer of dust. His robes looked well-worn and raggedy, his small dwelling was sparse -- he led a seemingly simple life, from a certain point of view.
No canonical Star Wars stories cover the whole of Obi-Wan's time on the planet furthest from the bright center of the universe. Star Wars Rebels is going to give us a peek soon, but overall, we don't know if Ben spent his days whittling bantha figures (no, I don't know where he'd get the wood for such a hobby) or tussling with Tusken Raiders. He spent 19 years playing guardian angel/Jedi to the little Skywalker. It's not insignificant. That period of his life is just one aspect suited for turning into a standalone film.
IGN UK Podcast #373: The Goodest Week We’ve Ever Had
There's so much good in this week's podcast that we had to call the server nerds at IGN and tell them to chuck on more bandwidth logs. We've had a week with the Nintendo Switch (it's good), we've been playing Stories Untold (very good) saw Logan (also good) and Kong: Skull Island (firmly in the 'good' camp).
Let's take a moment to appreciate how GOOD life is right now by listening to three friends gob off into microphones:

Square Enix Shows Off Final Fantasy XV PC Tech Test
At GDC 2017, Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata went into more detail on the game's development.
He unveiled a video showing the game captured on Nvidia's latest GTX 1080 Ti is Nvidia's graphics card, and its power looks set to exceed the insanely expensive Titan X.
The tech demo shows off various environments from the game with various additions to show off the lighting, and there are some interesting other changes, like a monster truck version of the Regalia car.
Of course, there is currently no PC version of Final Fantasy XV, but Tabata has previously expressed the desire to bring it to the platform. There are currently no plans for a Nintendo Switch version, however.
Opinion: Wolverine Doesn’t Need a Comic Book Resurrection
Marvel is weeks away from delivering a major overhaul of the X-Men comics. The ResurrXion relaunch promises to overhaul the X-Men lineup and kick-start a new wave of nostalgia-driven books like X-Men Gold, X-Men Blue and Generation X. And based on the "ResurrXion" title, it's probably safe to expect the return of at least one major, long-dead X-Man. I'm just hoping that dead X-Man isn't Wolverine. He may be the most popular of Marvel's many mutant heroes, but Wolverine serves more use dead than alive right now.
I don't say that lightly, as I count Wolverine among my favorite comic book characters of all time. But there's only so much Wolverine a person can take before they reach their breaking point. And Marvel was really pushing it by the time they finally killed off the character in 2014's Death of Wolverine. Wolverine was constantly at the forefront of the X-Men franchise thanks to his role as headmaster of the Jean Grey School and the fact that he always had several solo comics to his name. This is despite the fact that so many classic X-Men runs, from Chris Claremont and John Byrne's Uncanny X-Men to Joss Whedon and John Cassaday's Astonishing X-Men, show that Wolverine is a character best used sparingly rather than as the focal point of the franchise.

Overwatch game director Jeff Kaplan took to the Battle.net forums yesterday to thank everyone for the feedback (even though the majority of it hasn't been great), and to let everyone know that more updates are in the works.
"We know Bastion is a big focus for everyone right now," wrote Kaplan. "
we'll make some changes to Bastion and put them up on the PTR this morning. We'd love to hear your feedback about those changes when they go up. I don't have details right now because we're still making the changes!"
