Lethal Weapon: How Far Will Riggs Go in the Season Finale?
In last week's penultimate episode of FOX's Lethal Weapon: Season 1 -- which got an early renewal for Season 2 last month -- Clayne Crawford's Riggs had a bomb dropped on him. After finally starting to move on from his late wife Miranda, Riggs discovers that she was, indeed, targeted by the Cartel for execution. Will this new information drive Riggs to do terrible things in Lethal Weapon's Season 1 finale, "Commencement," which airs this Wednesday, March 15th?
I spoke to Lethal Weapon executive producer Matt Miller (Chuck, The 100) about this week's season ender to find out what might lie in store for Riggs and Murtaugh as Riggs, once again, searches for revenge.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Brings Back Battle Mode Madness
The biggest miss from 2014’s amazing Mario Kart 8 on Wii U was its low-effort take on battle mode. Instead of the tightly designed battle arenas from the now classic Mario Kart games, Nintendo opted to recycle the standard circuit tracks and basically just added three balloons. The result was one of the weakest battle modes in series history.
While it’s mostly a redo of the Wii U game’s tracks and races, with some extra characters and vehicles like Bowser Jr. and Splatoon’s Inklings, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for Nintendo Switch sets out to provide the Battle Mode experience we all wanted in the first time around.
For starters, all eight battle mode stages are either custom-designed for the Switch version or updates of returning favorites from prior Mario Kart games with some neat changes. Fans with fond memories of Super Mario Kart will be happy to see Battle Course 1 return, complete with the color-coded guard rails, but Nintendo wisely updated the layout to include some new tricks: You can now drive on top of the dividers for a quick escape from turtle shells and the edges are lined with ramps, three of which feature Boost Pads that launch players into the center area.
Red, Yellow and Pink Power Ranger Sentry Designs Revealed
More Power Ranger Sentries have been revealed ahead of their debut in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #13, giving a new spin to some familiar characters.
The Sabertooth, Tyrannosaur, and Pterodactyl Power Ranger Sentries join the Mastodon Sentries already introduced to the ongoing comic book series from BOOM! Studios.
Writer Kyle Higgins told comicbook.com he wanted to "try something different" when working with an alternate timeline. Rather than making the Rangers evil, something Higgins called the "easiest inversion," the writer instead decided on "splitting the powers up amongst soldiers."

Gotham City’s Newest Villain Is Too Pretty to Look At
With Mother Panic kicking off a new story arc in Issue #4, a new villain named Pretty is making his debut in Gotham City.
We hopped on the phone with series writer Jody Houser and artist Shawn Crystal, who is taking over for initial artist Tommy Lee Edwards. We talked about Mother Panic's first arc as a Gotham City "hero," the design of her intimidating white costume, and who came up with a villain so pretty that he's horrifying to look at.
Why Jane Foster Isn’t in Thor: Ragnarok
There's a simple reason why Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) isn't in Thor: Ragnarok.
While large chunks of the first two Thor movies focused on Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Foster's relationship, it turns out the pair broke up before the events of Ragnarok.
Entertainment Weekly reports that Thor is a slightly different character in this third film, as the Norse god enjoys being single and is more focused on finding out who was manipulating the Avengers in Age of Ultron rather than worrying about a relationship.
“He’s off exploring the universe, still trying to police it and control the mayhem,” Hemsworth told EW. “But he’s certainly enjoying being a drifter, being a solo cowboy out there."
Overwatch Director Reveals Upcoming Changes During ‘AMA’
Overwatch director Jeff Kaplan took to Reddit last night to answer a commendable number of questions from the community about the state of Overwatch, the direction it's headed, working at Blizzard, and even fielded personal questions about his journey to game development, life in general, and just getting by in this crazy, crazy world.
We've assembled some of the choicest answers below, but you can pick through the whole AMA on Reddit.
"I am looking forward to seeing how the barrier changes play out from the PTR once they go live. We've seen that Winston in the hands of the right player -- like Miro for example -- can be amazing. I think going too overboard with Winston buffs on the eve of Orisa's release is not wise. So we need to proceed with caution here. We don't want barriers or tanks getting out of hand. Winston is the least picked hero in the game in case you were wondering."
Ultima Creator on Going to the Bathroom in Space
In addition to creating the beloved role-playing series Ultima, Richard "Lord British" Garriott has been to outer space and discussed the unpleasant experience of pooping in zero gravity many miles away from Earth.
On the latest episode of our interview show IGN Unfiltered, Garriott noted that while books have been written how to go to the bathroom in space, they've always detailed the way you're trained to go in space, and no one as far as he knows tells the "actual story of how troubling it is to go to the bathroom in space."
The bathroom itself is like "small telephone booth" with one receptacle for liquid waste, another for solid waste, and several of knobs and switches that are fairly difficult to use thanks to the lack of gravity. "It's a funnel you pee into for liquid waste, which works fine and that's easy, but the solid waste receptacle is the problem," he said.

Everything You Need to Know About Mass Effect: Andromeda
The last few months have seen a steadily increasing amount of news about BioWare’s forthcoming Mass Effect: Andromeda, but it’s easy to forget that we’ve known about the space-faring sequel for a long time — nearly five years to be exact.
So, now that we’re so close to Mass Effect: Andromeda's release date, let’s take a look back at all the rumors, news, and reveals for the next entry in gaming’s biggest space opera.
Just as Mass Effect 3 was preparing to launch (get it?), BioWare began dropping hints about a future fourth installment. Associate Producer Mike Gamble went so far as to advise players to hold onto their Mass Effect 3 saves, suggesting Mass Effect 4 was already in the works, although it was confirmed it wouldn’t revolve around Commander Shepard. Some speculated Gamble’s comments could have also been alluding to DLC.
