Spider-Man’s MCU Costume Is Very Iron Man-Like

Some spoilers for Spider-Man: Homecoming follow.

I visited the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming last summer, and while there the film’s co-producer Eric Carroll dropped some pretty cool -- and some fans might say controversial -- info. Read no further if you want to stay completely spoiler free, however. And head here for 17 more things we learned on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Carroll explained that in Homecoming, Spidey’s costume will have a JARVIS-type AI system not unlike Tony Stark/Iron Man’s own suits of armor do.

Batman: Arkham VR Coming to Vive and Oculus Rift

Batman: Arkham VR is coming to PC via Oculus Rift and HTC Vive on April 25.

Previously exclusive to PSVR, Batman: Arkham VR comes to PC with Oculus Touch and Vive Controller support, as well as support for the DualShock 4, Xbox One controller, and Steam Controller.

"The Dark Knight has always been an incredible character to work with due to his psychological depth, so it’s really exciting to use this immersive medium to delve deeper into his psyche than ever before," said Rocksteady Creative Director Sefton Hill. "We’re thrilled that PC players can finally wear the cowl for themselves and take on the role of the World’s Greatest Detective....”

IGN crowned Batman: Arkham VR the Best VR Game of 2016. In our review, we said "being Batman in Akrham VR is a great way to more intimately experience Rocksteady's universe and to search for clues in this brief mystery."

Hands-On With Agents of Mayhem’s Ensemble Action

The first thing Agents of Mayhem wants you to know is that it is not Saints Row 5. Volition / Deep Silver has drawn a hard line between the two, and they’re not wrong to - after having spent a few hours with the eponymous Agents, it’s clear the two will be very different experiences. That said, from the gunplay to the irreverent writing and even some crossover character nods, Agents of Mayhem seems like it could easily exist within the same universe - and that’s not a bad thing at all. If the characters in Pulp Fiction would go see Kill Bill at the movies, then Agents of Mayhem is what the Third Street Saints would watch for Saturday morning cartoons.

Insomniac’s Spider-Man Game Will Reportedly Release This Year

Marvel Vice President, Ryan Penagos has said that Insomniac's officially undated Spider-Man game will be released this year.

In a stream (spotted and captured by Reddit user GamingSince95), Penagos says "there's

more on the horizon for 2017, like Spider-man coming to PlayStation 4".

There's some small cause for doubt, given that Penagos isn't directly involved with Marvel's games division. When asked for comment, Sony simply said "we don’t comment on rumour or speculation”.

Insomniac has previously only said that it was "hard at work on cool stuff to share in 2017", and has never mentioned a specific release window.

iZombie Cast on Season 3’s Big New Ally… or Enemy?

iZombie kicks off its third season this Tuesday and while things are looking more hopeful for Liv and her friends in some respects, there are plenty of new concerns as well – most notably a group that claims to have Liv’s best interests at heart, but whose actual plan remains murky and questionable.

On a visit to the Vancouver set of the series -- where cast members working that day took time during their respective breaks to sit down with me in Liv's apartment set -- Rose McIver (“Liv Moore”), Robert Buckley (“Major Lilywhite”) and Malcolm Goodwin (“Clive Babineaux”) explained what to expect in this season.

Season 2 ended with a big surprise for Liv, as she discovered the existence of a paramilitary group of zombies - part of the company Fillmore Graves and headed by Vivian Stoll (Andrea Savage), who told Liv she had a plan to make Seattle a safe haven for all zombies.

Destiny 2 Expansions Center Around Returning Characters

Promotional artwork for Destiny 2 may have dropped clues about the sequel's upcoming story arcs.

Bungie released details of its Collector's Edition and season pass last week, including two images related to the game's two currently planned expansions. Although the logos are text-free and give away very little, many fans of the original game will instantly recognise them as the icons associated with characters Osiris and Rasputin (or just a Warmind AI, if you're being picky).

It's only small, but the image is plenty big enough to discern the logos concerned:

Black Sails Creators Discuss the Series Finale

Warning: Full spoilers for the final episode of Black Sails follow...

So how about that for a final episode? Woodes defeated, and humiliated. Max, Jack, and Anne returning to Nassau to rule the roost. Silver making one final deal with Flint - one that leads the Captain back to his lost love, Thomas! It was an exciting and emotional finale that spared lives and sent us on our way with a smile.

I spoke to Black Sails creators Jonathan Steinberg and Robert Levine about the way everything ended, the impressive final action sequence, the pathway to Treasure Island, and more.

IGN: I was surprised that everyone made it out of the series finale alive and, for the most part, with happy endings. What was behind the choice to not load up on the death on your way out?
