The Flash: Ezra Miller’s Legal Problems Keep Growing As They Delete Their Instagram And Seemingly Disappear

As legal issues continue to arise for The Flash star Ezra Miller, the actor has apparently deleted their Instagram account, and there are reports that a court attempting to serve an order against Miller is unable to locate them. The actor is experiencing legal issues in Hawaii, Massachusetts, and North Dakota that include accusations of violence, psychological intimidation, and other forms of misconduct.

The actor's verified Instagram account vanished this week, and apparently, so has Miller. According to the Los Angeles Times, an Instagram representative confirmed the account was "user disabled this week". This is happening just days after a North Dakota tribal court issued a protective order against Miller due to allegations that Miller had groomed an 18-year-old beginning at age 12.

Other social media users have begun reposting the images Miller allegedly shared to their Instagram before deleting it. The pictures included quotes like "you cannot touch me, i am in another universe", and a lengthy paragraph about Miller shielding themself from "negative people and their ill intent."

The most recent accusations against Ezra Miller

The most recent accusation comes from attorney Chase Iron Eyes and his wife, pediatrician Sara Jumping Eagle, who are seeking protection for their child, 18-year-old non-binary Tokata Iron Eyes. The couple is accusing Miller of "psychologically manipulating, physically intimidating and endangering the safety and welfare of Tokata Iron Eyes,” according to a report from the Los Angeles Times.

Reports say the two have interacted several times over the past six years, including Tokata's parents allowing them to fly to London with Miller for the Fantastic Beasts premiere in 2017. During this event, Miller allegedly tried to share a bed with 14-year-old Tokata before being stopped by a chaperone.

Tokata's parents have been working for months to get Tokata to leave Miller so their child can be "their beautiful independent self.” Tokata has been spotted with Miller multiple times, including during some of the actor's altercations in Hawaii. As of now, a court hearing is set for July 12 for Tokata and Miller to appear.

In Massachusetts, The Daily Beast reports that a 12-year-old nonbinary child was granted an order of protection against Miller. The core incident apparently unfolded at a game night in February at a home in Greenfield, Massachusetts, which is about 40 miles from Miller's ranch in Stamford, Vermont. The social gathering was hosted by a friend of Whitney Suters, a musician Miller is friends with.

Miller was allegedly wearing a bulletproof vest, and when a conversation about a board game went awry, Miller apparently opened their jacket to reveal a gun. Witnesses say Miller screamed at them, and later apologized for the outburst.

The actor would continue to contact the family — interacting with the child in particular — in April, May, and June.

Ezra Miller's ongoing legal issues

Miller's legal issues started this past March when the actor was arrested at a bar in Hilo, Hawaii. In that instance, Miller was fined $500 for a disorderly conduct charge, while the Hawaii Tribune-Herald reports that two other charges were dropped.

However, when Miller was set to appear in court for the incident in Hawaii, the actor was arrested again for allegedly throwing a chair and injuring a woman at a home in Pahoa on Hawaii's Big Island.

Before Miller's legal troubles began this year, the actor made headlines for an April 2020 altercation at a bar in Reykjavik, Iceland. According to Variety, Miller grabbed a woman by the throat and threw her to the ground. Local authorities declined to investigate that incident.

As of now, Miller is still set to star as The Flash in the upcoming DC movie that's coming on June 23, 2023. In April, after Miller's original altercation in Hawaii, there was a Rolling Stone report saying Warner Bros. held an emergency meeting to discuss Miller's future with the studio.

The report said the consensus was to "hit pause" on future projects involving Miller. However, a source within the studio later told IGN that the initial reports' claims were exaggerating.

At this time, Miller's future as The Flash remains unclear. The actor is also known for appearing in all three Fantastic Beasts movies, the future of which could hang in the balance depending on the performance of The Secrets of Dumbledore.

IGN has reached out to Warner Bros. for comment on this story.

Planet of the Apes: Marvel to Publish New Comics Beginning in 2023

Another iconic science-fiction franchise is making its way back to Marvel Comics. Marel has reacquired the rights to The Planet of the Apes for the first time in more than 40 years.

Marvel's Planet of the Apes content will begin rolling out in 2023. The publisher isn't revealing specific titles or creative teams just yet, but they did confirm they'll be putting out new content as well as reprinting existing Apes material. Marvel also released a new teaser image from Aliens artist Salvador Larroca.

That teaser suggests Marvel will focus on the classic Planet of the Apes timeline rather than the universe of the recent Matt Reeves films.

Marvel is one of many comic book publishers to hold the rights to the Apes franchise over the years. Their Planet of the Apes magazine was published from 1974 to 1977, featuring both black-and-white adaptations of the original five films and new stories set in that world. Marvel also reprinted full-color versions of two of those adaptations in the monthly Adventures of the Planet of the Apes series.

More recently, the Apes franchise has found a home at publishers like Dark Horse and BOOM! Studios. BOOM! has proven to be the most prolific to date, publishing a number of prequels to the original film series and the reboot series, crossovers like the surprisingly heartfelt Tarzan on the Planet of the Apes and an adaptation of Rod Serling's original scripts for the 1968 film.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Planet of the Apes back to the House of Ideas!” Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski said in Marvel's press release. “The new saga in the pipeline is going explore the limits of what this beloved franchise has to offer through bold comics storytelling, and we look forward to setting foot on this new adventure!”

Planet of the Apes joins several other sci-fi titans currently making their home at Marvel. Marvel regained the rights to Star Wars in 2015, putting out hundreds of new comics in the years since (including the newly announced Mandalorian series). Both the Alien and Predator franchises migrated from Dark Horse to Marvel in 2021, though Marvel is only just now gearing up to release its first Predator comic in July.

The Quarry and High on Life Were Reportedly Meant To Be Google Stadia Releases First

Before Google scaled back first-party development for Stadia, its video game streaming platform, two games were reportedly in the works for the platform: Supermassive's The Quarry and Squanch's High On Life.

According to Axios, both games were in development at the tech giant before Google closed its internal development studios, with The Quarry subsequently being picked up by 2K. When its parent company, Take-Two Interactive, was asked by Axios about Google, the rep simply stated that the publisher was happy with its decision and that the studio "was looking for a publishing partner as the project came to completion."

High on Life is a first-person shooter game by a team led by Justin Roiland, the co-creator of Rick and Morty. The game was revealed this past weekend during the Xbox and Bethesda showcase and is coming to PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. A rep for Squanch Games didn't comment on whether it was originally in development over at Google and just repeated to Axios that it was coming to the aforementioned platforms.

Back in 2020, Google and Supermassive announced a partnership together but didn't reveal any other details. Now, it looks like the project they were working together was The Quarry. High on Life was only recently revealed, so it was never officially associated with Stadia in the first place.

In 2021, Google officially shut down its internal game development studios and refocused on third-party developers. Earlier this year, Google was reportedly going to pivot to selling Stadia's streaming technology to other companies. It partnered with AT&T to offer Control Ultimate Edition via streaming.

The Quarry is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. In our The Quarry review, we said, "The Quarry is worth playing at least once, but when compared to Until Dawn, it's one step forward and one step back. It features a solid script performed by a great cast, with a slow-burn story that you can guide to a few different satisfying (or anticlimactic) conclusions."

Destiny 2: Where Is Xur Today? Location and Exotic Items Guide for June 17-21

The eternal horse's sidekick, Xûr, is now live in Destiny 2 for the weekend until next week's reset. If you're looking to get your some shiny new Exotic armor or weapons for your Guardian, look no further.

Each week, Xûr has a random assortment of Exotic armor, one for each Guardian class, as well as a random Exotic Weapon and an Exotic Engram available for purchase. In addition to his Exotic wares, he's got a random collection of Legendary weapons and armor to deck out your Guardians.

We've rounded up all the info on Xûr for the week including where to find Xûr, which Exotic weapons and armor are available, as well as which Legendary weapons you should pick up, either for PvE or PvP.

Where Is Xûr This Weekend?

Xûr's location today can be found at Watcher's Grave on Nessus on June 17 through June 21. To reach him, travel to the landing point at Watcher's Grave. When you arrive, make for the red moss-covered tree straight ahead. Climb up the roots and you'll find Xûr waiting at the top to sell you exotic items and legendary weapons.

What Is Xûr Selling This Weekend?

Exotic Engram

Crimson - Exotic Hand Cannon

Gemini Jester - Exotic Hunter Leg Armor

  • 18 Mobility
  • 14 Resilience
  • 2 Recovery
  • 16 Discipline
  • 2 Intellect
  • 13 Strength
  • Total: 65

Aeon Safe - Exotic Titan Gauntlets

  • 9 Mobility
  • 4 Resilience
  • 19 Recovery
  • 7 Discipline
  • 13 Intellect
  • 9 Strength
  • Total: 61

Vesper of Radius - Exotic Warlock Chest Armor

  • 7 Mobility
  • 9 Resilience
  • 16 Recovery
  • 2 Discipline
  • 18 Intellect
  • 9 Strength
  • Total: 61

The only good roll this week in the way of exotic armor is the Hunter's boots, Gemini Jester, which has some high overall stats and decent stat attribution for the swiftest caped Guardians among us. The others are nothing to write home about and I'd skip them unless you need them.

Exotic Weapons

Hawkmoon - Exotic Hand Cannon

  • Paracausal Shot
  • Hammer-Forged Rifling
  • Alloy Magazine
  • Snapshot Sights
  • Textured Grip

Dead Man's Tale - Exotic Scout Rifle

  • Cranial Spike
  • Full Bore
  • Light Mag
  • Fourth Time's The Charm
  • Fitted Stock

No God rolls for either of these weapons this week, sadly! If you need either weapon, grab 'em, but otherwise pass on them and wait for a better roll!

Legendary Weapons

Swarm of the Raven - Grenade Launcher

  • Confined Launch/Hard Launch
  • High-Explosive Ordnance/Sticky Grenades
  • Threat Detector
  • Quickdraw
  • Blast Radius Masterwork

Gnawing Hunger - Auto Rifle

  • Chambered Compensator/Fluted Barrel
  • Extended Mag/Steady Rounds
  • Zen Moment
  • Multikill Clip
  • Stability Masterwork

First In, Last Out - Shotgun

  • Fluted Barrel/Hammer-Forged Rifling
  • Extended Mag/Light Mag
  • Pulse Monitor
  • Vorpal Weapon
  • Stability Masterwork

Brass Attacks - Sidearm

  • Corkscrew Rifling/Full Bore
  • Armor-Piercing Rounds/Ricochet Rounds
  • Feeding Frenzy
  • Sympathetic Arsenal
  • Accuracy Masterwork

Code Duello - Rocket Launcher

  • Countermass/Hard Launch
  • Implosion Rounds/Impact Casing
  • Auto-Loading Holster
  • Ambitious Assassin
  • Velocity Masterwork

Far Future - Sniper Rifle

  • Chambered Compensator/Hammer-Forged Rifling
  • Appended Mag/Extended Mag
  • Lead From Gold
  • Thresh
  • Stability Masterwork

Extraordinary Rendition - Submachine Gun

  • Arrowhead Brake/Chambered Compensator
  • Accurized Rounds/Steady Rounds
  • Substinence
  • Multikill Clip
  • Stablility Masterwork

My picks this week include the deadly roll of Extraordinary Rendition, which has a perk that will make your clips last much longer and another that will make each new clip deal more damage based on your kills with the last one. A pretty spicy combo! I also quite like the roll for Code Duello this week, which reloads itself and overflows the magazine if you get lots of kills with your shots -- both extremely valuable for a rocket launcher. Aside from that, most of the rolls are just okay. Maybe take a look at picking up Gnawing Hunger if you're into auto rifles, but that's about it.

Warlock Legendary Armor

For Warlocks, Xûr is selling the Gensym Knight set which includes:

Gensym Knight Gloves

  • 18 Mobility
  • 12 Resilience
  • 2 Recovery
  • 10 Discipline
  • 9 Intellect
  • 10 Strength
  • Total: 61

Gensym Knight Chest Armor

  • 2 Mobility
  • 2 Resilience
  • 22 Recovery
  • 9 Discipline
  • 9 Intellect
  • 13 Strength
  • Total: 57

Gensym Knight Helmet

  • 14 Mobility
  • 12 Resilience
  • 7 Recovery
  • 10 Discipline
  • 11 Intellect
  • 12 Strength
  • Total: 66

Gensym Knight Leg Armor

  • 6 Mobility
  • 9 Resilience
  • 12 Recovery
  • 14 Discipline
  • 7 Intellect
  • 9 Strength
  • Total: 57

Gensym Knight Bond

The only good piece of armor this week for Warlocks is the helmet, but it's a dang good one! With 66 overall points fairly evenly distributed, it's a great piece for rounding out your armor set!

Titan Legendary Armor

For Titans, Xûr is selling the Gensym Knight set which includes:

Gensym Knight Gauntlets

  • 7 Mobility
  • 17 Resilience
  • 7 Recovery
  • 2 Discipline
  • 8 Intellect
  • 19 Strength
  • Total: 60

Gensym Knight Chest Armor

  • 20 Mobility
  • 2 Resilience
  • 7 Recovery
  • 18 Discipline
  • 11 Intellect
  • 2 Strength
  • Total: 60

Gensym Knight Helmet

  • 2 Mobility
  • 12 Resilience
  • 14 Recovery
  • 2 Discipline
  • 10 Intellect
  • 17 Strength
  • Total: 57

Gensym Knight Leg Armor

  • 10 Mobility
  • 10 Resilience
  • 12 Recovery
  • 17 Discipline
  • 8 Intellect
  • 6 Strength
  • Total: 63

Gensym Knight Mark

The only halfway decent piece of armor this week are the boots, and even that isn't very good owing too far too many points being put into the mobility stat and just no spiky stats all around. Probably should just skip this week, Titans!

Hunter Legendary Armor

For Hunters, Xûr is selling the Gensym Knight set which includes:

Gensym Knight Grips

  • 2 Mobility
  • 24 Resilience
  • 2 Recovery
  • 2 Discipline
  • 2 Intellect
  • 25 Strength
  • Total: 57

Gensym Knight Chest Armor

  • 30 Mobility
  • 2 Resilience
  • 2 Recovery
  • 8 Discipline
  • 15 Intellect
  • 9 Strength
  • Total: 66

Gensym Knight Helmet

  • 2 Mobility
  • 28 Resilience
  • 2 Recovery
  • 2 Discipline
  • 2 Intellect
  • 27 Strength
  • Total: 63

Gensym Knight Leg Armor

  • 7 Mobility
  • 10 Resilience
  • 15 Recovery
  • 7 Discipline
  • 2 Intellect
  • 20 Strength
  • Total: 61

Gensym Knight Cloak

Hunters got a few good rolls this week, especially if you enjoy high resilience and strength on a Hunter as two pieces are extremely spiky for that. The star of the show is the chest piece, though, which has 66 overall stats and a staggering 30 mobility for the fast hunters out there.

That's a wrap on Xûr for this week, Guardians! Hope you're all enjoying your adventures in the Season of the Haunted.

Unpacking Studio’s Next Game Revealed In Newly-Discovered Easter Egg

Update: After Witchbeam teased an undiscovered easter egg teasing the studio's next game, one player quickly stepped up with the answer. Titled TemPopo, it can be found on one of the game's televisions.

After the player posted the image, Unpacking developer Sanatana Mishra seemingly confirmed the easter egg had been found by tweeting, "Nice one. :)"

The original story continues below.

Unpacking developer Witchbeam says that an easter egg exists within the game that reveals art from its next project.

"A pixel art rendition of the key art for our next game exists somewhere inside Unpacking, and no one has found it yet! Let us know if you find it," says Emily Hummel, Witchbeam community and social manager on the studio's blog.

The Australian studio's next game is known as "TemPoPo" and no other details about it are known. Now that Witchbeam has revealed this bit of info, players will surely comb through every little detail in Unpacking, hoping to find the pixel art that the studio is referring to. Hopefully, we won't have to wait long for a confirmation.

Unpacking is a puzzle game that follows a female character's process of unpacking different items from boxes into various new places. There are 8 stages taking place in different years with each stage representing an important part of the character's life. Players learn more about the protagonist's story through the items they unpack and the places she has lived in.

Unpacking is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. In our Unpacking review, we said, "Unpacking’s greatest achievement is that it tells a story without any of the tools we’d usually consider essential. Unpacking’s Undiscovered Easter Egg is a Clue to Studio’s Next Game

There’s no dialogue, very little text, and no visible characters."

WWE’s Vince McMahon Steps Down as CEO Amidst Misconduct Probe

Vince McMahon has "voluntarily stepped back" from his role as CEO and chairman of WWE while the company's board of directors carry out an "investigation into alleged misconduct."

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the board is investigating claims of alleged misconduct against McMahon and WWE's Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis. The company says McMahon will "retain his role and responsibilities related to WWE's creative content" during the investigation and remains "committed to cooperating with the review underway."

"I have pledged my complete cooperation to the investigation by the special committee, and I will do everything possible to support the investigation," McMahon said in a statement after it was announced that he was stepping away from his duties. "I have also pledged to accept the findings and outcome of the investigation, whatever they are."

The Wall Street Journal surfaced allegations that McMahon had established a separation agreement and paid $3 million to a former female employee with whom he had a consensual affair. According to the report, the WWE board has since uncovered more potential payouts and legal agreements that McMahon and Laurinaitis may have had with other women.

"WWE and its board of directors take all allegations of misconduct very seriously," the firm said. "The independent directors of the board engaged independent legal counsel to assist them with an independent review. In addition, the special committee and WWE will work with an independent third-party to conduct a comprehensive review of the company's compliance program, HR function and overall culture."

McMahon's daughter Stephanie has been appointed as WWE's interim CEO and interim chairwoman until the investigation is concluded. She is returning to the company to assume these roles on a provisional basis after announcing last month that she was taking a leave of absence from the majority of her responsibilities at WWE to focus on her family.

"I love this company and am committed to working with the independent directors to strengthen our culture and our company; it is extremely important to me that we have a safe and collaborative workplace," Stephanie McMahon said. "I have committed to doing everything in my power to help the special committee complete its work, including marshaling the cooperation of the entire company to assist in the completion of the investigation and to implement its findings."

Vince McMahon and his wife Linda founded the company that became known as WWE back in 1980, and they've witnessed it grow into a sports entertainment powerhouse in the years since. The company reported $1.1 billion in revenue last year, which included a multi-year agreement that gave Peacock exclusive streaming rights to the WWE Network in the US.
