Today at San Diego Comic Con, we got treated to a brand new Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 trailer shown off in Hall H that shows some big changes taking place within the Guardians, including the debut of Maria Bakalova as Cosmo the (excellent) dog.

In the trailer, we see Gamora is running a section of the Ravagers. Peter Quill is shocked to see her, but Nebula isn’t. Unfortunately, Gamora doesn’t remember anything about the Guardians. Peter says that she was everything to him, and he thought she was gone, but she’s here and he misses her. Gamora tells him that person wasn’t her - it's the other Gamora, not the one that died. We see Groot as a big boy, and a baby Rocket Raccoon. The final question of the trailer asks where Rocket came from.

Marvel Studios revealed the first real look at Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania at San Diego Comic-Con 2022, and it included Kang the Conqueror, MODOK, and Bill Murray.

The footage was shown to those in attendance at Marvel's SDCC panel, but it has yet to be released to the public. Despite that, we learned a lot more about the film that will kick off Phase 5 of the MCU.

The footage began with Scott Lang doing a book reading at a store for his new memoir 'Look Out for the Little Guy." He is then interrupted by his daughter Cassie when she calls his phone and informs him she is in jail. The events lead them to the Quantum Realm and we catch a glimpse of Bill Murray, the face of MODOK, and the first look at Jonathan Majors' Kang the Conqueror since his variant appeared in Loki.

Marvel also shared an official plot synopsis for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and it is as follows;

"Super Hero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and The Wasp," the official description reads. "Together, with Hope’s parents Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible."

The third Ant-Man movie will be released on February 17, 2023 after swapping release dates with The Marvels. Aside from returning starts Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly, we knew that Jonathon Majors will appear as Kang the Conqueror (after being introduced in the Loki series), while Bill Murray all but confirmed he'll appear last year.

As previously mentioned, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will kick off Phase 5 and is just one piece in the newly named Multiverse Saga that will end with Phase 6's Fantastic Four, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, and Avengers: Secret Wars.

Marvel has announced that the fourth Captain America film, titled Captain America: New World Order, is coming to theaters on May 3, 2024.

Announced as part of the Marvel Studios panel at SDCC 2022, the movie will be Anthony Mackie's first feature film as the new Captain America following the events of Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Earlier this month, we learned that Nigerian-American filmmaker Julius Onah will direct the film. Onah previously directed The Cloverfield Paradox, and this film marks the director's MCU debut. The film is being written by The Falcon and the Winter Soldier's head writer and creator Malcolm Spellman.

We don't know much about the film's plot yet, but Marvel producer Nate Moore previously said this film will explore "what makes somebody Captain America", and dive into Sam Wilson's underdog status as the new Cap.

Also in the panel, we learned that She-Hulk and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will conclude Phase 4 of the MCU, meaning New World Order will presumably be a part of Phase 5. Marvel also announced plans for Phase 6, including release dates for Fantastic 4 and two new Avengers movies. Plus, we now know that Phase 4-6 are officially titled The Multiverse Saga.

Today at San Diego Comic Con, during a veritable deluge of information about the remainder of Marvel's Phase 4 and its coming Phase 5, it was revealed that Marvel Studios' Thunderbolts will conclude Phase 5 of the MCU on July 26, 2024.

We've known about the supposedly top-secret Thunderbolts movie through rumors for a bit now, including reports that it will be directed by Jake Schreier (Paper Towns, Robot & Frank) and written by Eric Pearson (Thor: Ragnarok, Black Widow) and produced by Kevin Feige. We don't know any details just yet about what the movie will entail, but IGN has put together an explainer on what we know about Thunderbolts from the comics that might give us an idea of what to expect from the supervillain team that will supposedly reshape the MCU.

Thunderbolts will wrap up Phase 5 of the MCU, and we actually got a fairly detailed overview of not just the end of Phase 4, but all of Phase 5 and some of 6 today. Phase 4 will end with She-Hulk and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (both of which got new trailers today), while Phase 5 will open with Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania on February 17, 2023 and will wrap up with Thunderbolts. Phase 6 will open with Fantastic Four on November 8, 2024 and close with two Avengers movies: The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars on May 2, 2025 and November 7, 2025, respectively. Phase 6 will bring The Multiverse Saga to a close.

Marvel has revealed extended footage from She-Hulk: Attorney-at-Law, and it includes the Hulk, a Hulk/She-Hulk training montage, Emil Blonsky/the Abomination, Wong, and Charlie Cox's Daredevil.

Shown off at San Diego Comic-Con 2022, the footage arrives before She-Hulk: Attorney at Law lands on Disney+ on August 17, 2022, and tells the story of Tatiana Maslany's Jennifer Walters, an "attorney specializing in superhuman-oriented legal cases" who must "navigate the complicated life of a single, 30-something who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk."

She-Hulk's first season will contain nine episodes and is billed as "Marvel's first half-hour comedy series." The Disney+ show will also star Jameela Jamil, Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jon Bass and Renée Elise Goldsberry. 

Additionally, She-Hulk will introduce the world to Frog Man - the son of a Spider-Man villain named Vincent Patilio/Leap Frog who is trying his best to be a hero.

She-Hulk, alongside Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, will bring to a close Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This means it will pave the way for Phase 5's Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and so many more.

Marvel also shared that Phase 6 will begin with Fantastic Four on November 8, 2024 and will end with Avengers: The Kang Dynasty on May 2, 2025, and Avengers: Secret Wars on November 7, 2025. These three phases will now be known as The Multiverse Saga.

Arriving on August 17, exclusively on Disney+, the show will star Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters - aka She-Hulk - a cousin of Bruce Banner. The show will show Walters attempting to balance being an unwitting superhero with her career asa lawyer.

We know that Mark Ruffalo (Banner), Benedict Wong (Wong), Tim Roth (Abomination), and Jameela Jamil (Titania) will make appearances along the way – and we'll also be getting the unexpected MCU debut of Frog Man.

Marvel has announced that its Secret Invasion series is coming to Disney+ in Spring 2023. Announced as part of the Marvel Studios panel at SDCC 2022, Secret Invasion stars Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, as well as a host of other stars. Cobie Smulders, who plays Maria Hill in the MCU, also appeared at the panel.

There was also new footage shown at the Marvel Studios panel. It begins with Nick Fury landing and walking out of a spaceship. Maria Hill then reads Fury the Riot Act for abandoning Earth, but Fury pushes back. Don Cheadle's Rhodey is also shown meeting with Fury. At the panel, Smulders said the show is going to be exciting because you "won't know who's Skrull and who's human."

The Secret Invasion cast also includes Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Olivia Colman, and more. Secret Invasion will see Fury and the Skrull General Talos investigating a sect of Skrulls who’ve infiltrated the highest levels of authority in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
