A new ad for God of War Ragnarok is a legendary crossover with Rick and Morty that sees our favorite duo travel to the Nine Realms for some hilarious fun.

The new ad was revealed on the night of the Season 6 premiere of Rick and Morty, and it begins with Rick shaving his head and putting red paint on his face to look just like Kratos before he and Morty travel to the world of God of War Ragnarok.

Rick quickly opens a chest and finds Kratos' Leviathan Axe and "other unannounced upgrades," but he refuses to help Morty when he is attacked by a flock of birds as he doesn't want to get blood on the axe.

Rick also finds a boat and tells Morty that he will have to row as he has the important job of making sure the Leviathan Axe doesn't get wet.

As for God of War Ragnarok, Kratos and Atreus' new adventure is set to begin on PS5 and PS4 on November 9, 2022.

Review bombing by internet trolls has become a huge problem and has caused sites like Rotten Tomatoes to show user scores for films and movies that are far lower than they should be. To help combat that problem, Amazon has introduced a new delay tactic for its new shows like The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.

As reported by Variety, Amazon actually first debuted this new initiative for A League of Their Own, where it delayed all user reviews by 72 hours. Trolls love to be the first to tear something down and the hope, it seems, is that the initial hurdle will be enough to deter them from coming back.

Furthermore, Amazon is planning to evaluate each critique to "determine whether it’s genuine or a forgery created by a bot, troll or other breed of digital goblin."

It appears to have worked, as A League of Their Own currently has a review score on Prime Video of 4.3 stars, with 80% of users voting five stars and only 14% of users voting 1 star.

A League of Their Own currently has an 85% user score on Rotten Tomatoes, so this new initiative will really be put to the test when user reviews are allowed for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power as user reviews for the series are currently sitting at 39%. This is opposed to the critic review score of 84%.

While not all reviews have been stellar for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, its user review score on sites like Rotten Tomatoes does seem to be a bit low. This may be due to the face that, as Variety notes, "The Rings of Power has been fending off trolls for months, especially ones who take issue with the decision to cast actors of color as elves, dwarves, harfoots and other folk of Tolkien’s fictional Middle-earth."

In our review of the first two episodes of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, we said that the show "may take it a little while to hit its stride, but once it does, it immerses us in a gorgeous fantasy world with a great ensemble and several intriguing subplots."

Sylvester Stallone has become one of the biggest stars in the history of Hollywood, but even he couldn't get everything he wanted as he was rejected when he asked to be an extra in Francis Ford Coppola's The Godfather.

Stallone is gearing up to be a mobster in the upcoming Paramount+ series Tulsa King, and he spoke to Empire about trying and failing to make that gangster dream come true early on in his career.

"I went to Paramount, and said, ‘Can I be an extra in the wedding scene?’,” Stallone recalled. “They said, ‘Yeah, we don’t know if you’re the type of guy.’ I go, ‘I’m not the type? To play in the background, hiding behind a fucking wedding cake?’"

Now, it's important to remember that Stallone was still early on in his career when 1972's The Godfather was being made and he still hadn't starred in films like Rocky or in First Blood as Rambo.

As for Tulsa King, the series comes from Yellowstone co-creator Tyler Sheridan and Stallone leads the series as Dwight "The General" Manfredi - a "capo freshly released form 25 years in jail, who's sent to Oklahoma to build up a new base of operations for his criminal family."

“Finally I get my gangster shot 50 years later, and that’s perfect,” Stallone said. “Everything comes to those who wait.”

Tulsa King premieres on Paramount+ on November 13, 2022. Until then, you can check out Stallone in Samaritan, a film that "hinges on a predictable reveal, and not much else. A mechanical retread of better movies and ideas."

While Hogwarts Legacy is aiming to let you live your wizarding world dreams, one thing it won't let you do is play the magical sport of Quidditch.

Quidditch's absence from Hogwarts Legacy has been confirmed on the game's official FAQ page. Fortunately, Hogwarts Legacy will still feature a ton of flying on brooms to give you that feeling of soaring through the sky.

"Quidditch is not playable in Hogwarts Legacy," the official FAQ reads. "However, broom flight for traversal and broom race challenges are part of the game. Players can also fly brooms to explore new and familiar locations surrounding Hogwarts Castle. "

Playable Quidditch has been a thing in the past, and the sport has even had its own game in Quidditch World Cup.

The rest of the FAQ is well worth a read as it gives a pretty in-depth breakdown of what fans can expect from Hogwarts Legacy when it is released on February 10, 2023, including how much of Hogwarts players can explore, what kinds of classes they can take, how leveling up works, and more.

It also discusses Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling's involvement, who has become notable in recent years for her transphobic comments. The late Chadwick Boseman has won a posthumous Emmy Award for his work as Star-Lord T'Challa in Marvel's What If...? and has added another accolade to his incredible career that ended way too soon.

Boseman, who passed away in 2020 at the age of 43 after a battle against colon cancer, won the award at Saturday's Creative Arts Emmys presentation at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

Marvel Studios celebrated the moment on Twitter by saying, "Thank you to the Television Academy for recognizing the outstanding work of our King, the late Chadwick Boseman. #Emmys"

"When I learned Chad was nominated, I started thinking of everything that was going on in the world and our world and being so in awe of his commitment and dedication and what a beautiful moment that one of the last things he would work on was something so important to him and to the world but also something new," Simone Ledward said. "You can’t understand your purpose unless you ask what if? What if the universe is conspiring in my favor? What if it’s me? Chad would be so honored and I am honored on his behalf,” she said.

The Callisto Protocol director Glen Schofield has apologized for his previous comments that hinted at a possible crunch culture at his studio Striking Distance.

As spotted by those like Ian Walker, Schofield tweeted out a statement that he and his team are working 6-7 days a week for 12-15 hours each in order to finish The Callisto Protocol. While he wrote that no one was "forcing us" to do this, a lot of the problems in studios experiencing crunch stem from the top and can create a silent expectation for others to work as much as they do.

"I only talk about the game during an event," Schofield wrote in the now-deleted tweet. "We r working 6-7 days a week, nobody's forcing us. Exhaustion, tired, Covid but we're working. Bugs, glitches, perf fixes. 1 last pass thru audio. 12-15 hr days. This is gaming. Hard work. Lunch, dinner working. U Do it cause ya luv it."

Schofield then wrote an apology to his previous tweet, saying that he values "passion and creativity, not long hours," and that it was wrong how he wrote out his previous comment.

"Anyone who knows me knows how passionate I am about the people I work with," Schofield wrote. "Earlier I tweeted how proud I was of the effort the hours the team was putting in. That was wrong. We value passion and creativity, not long hours. I'm sorry to the team for coming across like this."

Bloomberg reported Jason Schreier, who has reported on crunch issues in the past, responded to Schofield's original tweet with a bit of context.

"This, from a studio head, is crunch culture defined," Schreier wrote. "Of course nobody is 'forced' to work insane hours. But imagine the reduced bonuses and lack of promotion opportunities if you don't? 'You do it because you love it.' Weaponized passion. This is why people burn out of gaming."

Crunch at studios in the games industry and beyond has been given the spotlight in recent years as reports have come out about unhealthy working conditions for those building the entertainment we love. Some examples include Metroid Prime, Destiny, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

As it stands, Striking Distance Studios is set to release The Callisto Protocol on December 2, 2022.
