It Was Andrew Garfield’s Idea to Include This Meme in Spider-Man: No Way Home
Spider-Man: No Way Home is full of fun nods to Spidey's history, and we're now learning that one of the film's best references was improvised by Andrew Garfield.
Warning: This article contains spoilers for Spider-Man: No Way Home!
During a conversation the three Spider-Men had with Deadline's Pete Hammond, Tom Holland said figuring out all of the three Peters' interactions in the movie was a fun process.
“It was so collaborative, it was so playful.” Holland said. “From [Garfield] cracking Tobey’s back to [Garfield] coming up with the idea of pointing at us, it was all stuff that we came up with on the day. And it was just a lot of fun to be able to play with three guys in Spider-Man suits. It was a strange experience but one I won't ever forget."
Garfield has previously spoken to that improvisation. In an interview earlier this month on The Happy Sad Confused podcast, Garfield shared the story of how the Spider-Man pointing meme made its way into No Way Home.
"It kind of happened naturally on that scaffolding scene with Peter 1, Peter 2, Peter 3, like all that," Garfield said. "I remember having a lightning bolt and running into set and telling [director] Jon [Watts], 'I got it, I got it.'"
Garfield went on to say that the moment was when Jacob Batalon's Ned calls out to Peter, and all three respond. In the original version of the script, Garfield's Peter said something snarky like, "this isn't going to get old at all", until Garfield helped change it to something more playful and fun.
"So then we were thinking I could say, 'Aw, this is adorable. We're so adorable. God, we're cute.' Something like that," Garfield said. "But then I was like, no, this is the moment where we get to go, 'Do you mean me?' Jon was like, 'That's it. That's it. Done.' I was so happy that worked."
The Spider-Man pointing meme is from the Spider-Man animated series. In the original, Spider-Man runs into a villain impersonating Spider-Man, causing them to point at each other. When rumors about Garfield and Maguire's involvement in No Way Home were swirling, many fans were using this meme on social media, hoping it would make its way into the movie.
For more from the same interview, check out what Tom Holland is saying about his future as Spider-Man. And, learn the only three people Andrew Garfield didn't lie to about Spider-Man.

Don’t Worry, You Can Still Catch These Starters in Pokemon Legends: Arceus
Pokémon Legends: Arceus is an unusual Pokémon game in many ways, including its starter Pokémon selection which is entirely made up of Pokémon from different previous games and regions.
But if you're unhappy with the starter selection of Oshawott, Rowlet, or Cyndaquil, it's pretty easy to get one of a few different starter Pokémon relatively early on in the game.
Warning: Spoilers for Pokémon Legends: Arceus' available Pokémon, new Pokémon forms, and sidequests follow. Read at your own risk!
The starters in question that are available are the original Sinnoh (Diamond and Pearl) starters: Chimchar, Turtwig, and Piplup. And if you're lucky and hunt carefully, you can get all three decently early on and use them through the majority of the game.
The first you're likely to run into is Chimchar, who is the subject of the quest 'The Mysterious Will o' the Wisp.' By following this quest you'll automatically encounter a Chimchar to catch, but there are other ways to get one. Chimchar can appear sparingly in a few spots in the Obsidian Fieldlands but are most common on Ramanas Island. Just be aware of the giant alpha Infernape roaming around with them.
Once you reach the Crimson Mirelands, you can potentially track down a Turtwig by heading to the Droning Meadow and checking around a little pond you can find there. You may have to pass the Cottonsedge Prairie on your way there, which has a roaming alpha Torterra at its center.
And finally, in the Cobalt Coastlands, heading over to the Islepy Shore will immediately reveal a terrifying alpha Empoleon on the coastline, but head past it to the small pond to the north to find Piplups.
These aren't the only starter Pokémon you can find in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. You can also find more of the three starters from Hisui: Oshawott, Cyndaquil, and Rowlet in space-time distortions, meaning you're not limited to only having the one you picked from the get-go. You'll also receive the remaining two from Professor Laventon after the credits roll.
Finally, of course, you can find Pikachu and Eevee roaming the wilds, most obviously in the Obsidian Fieldlands, though both can be a bit elusive.
For comprehensive guides on Pokémon Legends: Arceus, including how to find some of the trickier Pokemon, check out our wiki hub on the game.
We reviewed Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and found it to be an ambitious revamp that revolutionized the defining Pokémon experiences of catching and battling, but was unfortunately set in a drab, empty, and at times tedious world.

Masters Of the Universe Live-Action Movie Heads To Netflix While Casting Its He-Man
After years of uncertainty, a new live-action Masters of the Universe movie is on its way to Netflix, with Kyle Allen set to take on the role of He-Man.
Netflix is partnering with Mattel to produce the new movie, with the Nee Brothers serving as co-directors. The script is being produced by the Nees and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings writer David Callaham.
The new film's story will focus on He-Man, also known as Adam, an orphan "discovers he is a prince destined to be the savior of a faraway land." He must "quickly learn of his power and the importance of saving his true home from an evil force." In short, it sounds a lot like an origin story.
The new live-action Masters of the Universe movie has been rumored since at least 2003, with John Woo set to direct. Sony eventually acquired the rights, but had little success getting a new movie off the ground.
In 2021, Netflix released Masters of the Universe: Revelation, a new series featuring Kevin Smith and Mark Hamill. A more family-friendly CG show titled He-Man and the Masters of the Universe is also streaming on the service.
Masters of the Universe last appeared in live-action in 1987, with Dolph Lundgren playing the role of He-Man. It was critically panned, but it has since developed a cult following.
Netflix new Masters of the Universe movie will begin production in summer 2022. It does not have a release date yet. While you wait, check out this Epic Castle Grayskull playset, which is a "true blast from the past."

Jason Momoa Confirmed as Fast & Furious 10’s Villain [Update]
Update 1/28 2:05pm PT: And it's official. The Fast Saga Twitter account has confirmed Jason Momoa will be in the upcoming Fast 10.
"The Fast Fam keeps getting bigger. Welcome, Jason Momoa," the franchise's official Twitter account says along with an appropriately glamorous photo of the actor with the hashtag #F10.

Fast 10 is set to be the conclusion of the Fast Saga and will be a two-part film, with part one set to be released in 2023.
Original Story: The Fast and Furious franchise has a history of adding extremely muscular men to its cast of characters, and it seems Fast 10 will be no different. After Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and John Cena appeared in previous movies, it could be Aquaman star Jason Momoa's turn to face off against Vin Diesel's Dom Toretto.
THR reports Momoa is in final talks to join the next installment of the Fast and Furious franchise. We don't know much about the next movie's plot, but apparently Momoa could play one of the movie's villains. It's possible his character could work alongside Charlize Theron's Cipher, who escaped at the end of last year's F9.
Many members of the family are expected to return in Fast & Furious 10, including Michelle Rodriguez's Letty, Tyrese Gibson's Roman, Ludacris' Tej and Sung Kang's Han. There's some unfinished business between Han and Jason Statham's Deckard Shaw, as F9's credits scene showed the two interacting for the first time since Shaw's attempted murder of Han.
One character that won't return for Fast 10 at this point is Johnson's Luke Hobbs. The ongoing beef between Johnson and Diesel seems to have reached its conclusion, at least for now. At the very end of last year, Johnson said there is "no chance" he would rejoin the franchise, especially after Diesel's social media post did not go over well with the Rock. Diesel made a post telling the Rock that he "must show up" for Fast & Furious 10 and "rise to the occasion and fulfill your destiny." While that ship may have sailed, fans can expect to see Johnson again in Hobbs & Shaw 2.
Fast 10 is set to come out on May 19, 2023. It will serve as the first half of a two-part finale for the Fast and Furious franchise. Longtime franchise director Justin Lin is returning, having previously worked on Fast 3 through 6 and F9.
