Creed 2 Director May Helm New Transformers Movie

Creed 2 director Steven Caple Jr. is reportedly in talks to direct a new Transformers movie. The Hollywood Reporter says Caple is in talks to direct a script by King Arthur writer Joby Harold. The movie currently has a release date of June 24, 2022. Caple's Transformers movie is different from an animated Transformers movie that's supposedly in development and is expected to be a reboot of the live-action series previously directed by Michael Bay. Another live-action Transformers movie is in development at Paramount from writer James Vanderbilt, the writer of Murder Mystery. Vanderbilt's script is reportedly about the Transformers spinoff Beast Wars. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/09/26/beast-wars-transformers-we-were-wrong-about-you-up-at-noon"] The last Transformers movie released was the spinoff Bumblebee. It earned the best reviews of the series and producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura took note of that for the future of the franchise, according to an interview with Collider in March 2019. "Several lessons have come out of [Bumblebee]," Di Bonaventura said. "One is that we have the freedom to tell almost any story. The other is that, how strongly the audience identified with the strength of character and emotion. I know the next Transformer, our attempt anyway, is to sort of do a fusion of Bumblebee and the Bay movies...a little more Bayhem. And a little bit more of the character falling in love within the emotional dynamic of the movie." [widget path="global/article/imagegallery" parameters="albumSlug=dumbest-transformers-movie-moments&captions=true"] Harold is reportedly a writer on the Obi-Wan Kenobi series coming to Disney+ and is also developing a Space Mountain movie for Disney. As for the future of the Creed franchise, Michael B. Jordan is considering taking over as director. Instead of directing Transformers, Bay is now working on a smaller-scale thriller with Jake Gyllenhaal. Justice League: Zack Snyder Unveils Black and White Trailer With New Footage

Zack Snyder has debuted a black and white trailer for HBO Max's Snyder Cut of Justice League, which features a few seconds of new footage. Snyder released the trailer on his Vero account on Tuesday morning to celebrate the three-year anniversary of Justice League's theatrical release. The updated trailer contained much of the same footage that was released at DC FanDome earlier this year, with the exception of a few blink-and-you'll-miss-them moments from the likes of Darkseid, Superman, and Cyborg. In the new clips, fans are offered another snapshot of Darkseid, who is expected to be featured a few times during the movie, including as part of a flashback scene that will show Darkseid leading the Parademons against the Greek gods, as his pre-Darkseid version Uxas. In addition, there's some fresh footage of Henry Cavill's Superman, Ray Fisher's Cyborg, and Connie Nielsen's Hippolyta. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/08/23/justice-league-the-snyder-cut-trailer-breakdown"] There has been only been around "four or five minutes of additional photography" shot for the entire movie, including a "vignette" with Jared Leto's Joker, who is said to have a different look in the Snyder Cut of Justice League compared to the character's appearance in 2016's Suicide Squad, though there's no word yet on how exactly the Clown Prince of Crime will fit into the Justice League storyline. Although there might not be much in the way of additional photography, there will be plenty of differences between the Snyder cut (which is being dubbed the "director's cut") and Joss Whedon's 2017 theatrical release. Unfortunately, we will have to wait a little while longer to know the full extent of those changes, as the Snyder Cut of Justice League is only scheduled to arrive on HBO Max in 2021. [widget path="global/article/imagegallery" parameters="albumSlug=justice-league-snyder-cut-all-the-known-differences-from-the-theatrical-version&captions=true"] Snyder initially thought that his version of Justice League would be released as two movies, one month apart from one another, but that plan soon changed, as Snyder agreed to release the feature as a multi-part series, cut into television show-like chunks. He said he specifically structured the story as "six chapters," which he felt better "leant itself" to the miniseries format. Jared Leto’s Joker Will Have a Different Look in Justice League Snyder Cut

Zack Snyder has revealed that Jared Leto's Joker will sport a different look in the Snyder Cut of Justice League. Speaking with Grace Randolph on Beyond The Trailer, Snyder confirmed that the Clown Prince of Crime's look will differ in his version of Justice League compared to his character's appearance in 2016's Suicide Squad. Snyder didn't elaborate too much on what had changed about the Joker's look, but he did briefly touch on one of the actor's additional photography scenes. "I wanted to, of course, honour what had been created with him because I thought it was really cool," Snyder explained before mentioning the changes to the character. "But there is some water has gone under the proverbial bridge between when last we saw Joker and this appearance. He's a road-weary Joker, I guess that's a way of saying it." [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/10/21/jared-leto-to-play-joker-in-zack-snyders-justice-league-ign-now"] While it's still unknown how exactly Leto's Joker will fit into Snyder's Justice League, we know that there has been only been roughly "four or five minutes of additional photography" shot for the entire movie, so the character will factor somewhere into that new footage. Snyder described the character's scene as a "vignette" that will see a "segment of the band together." "This scene was... a part of the world that I love and that I felt like needed to be just added to this movie and that… it's really the only thing that I've added outside of the original photography," he admitted, referencing the Justice League reshoots, which involved several returning cast members, including Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, and Ray Fisher. Leto returning to reprise his Joker role is just one of the many confirmed differences that the Snyder Cut will offer, check out our slideshow below for more or read our individual stories about the new design for Darkseid's herald Steppenwolf, the cut dialogue from Superman and Batman's confrontation, and Joe Manganiello reprising the role of Deathstroke. Cross-Gen PlayStation Exclusives Are Being ‘Built from the Ground Up’ for PS5

Sony Interactive Entertainment President and CEO Jim Ryan has reassured fans that, although some of PlayStation 5's biggest upcoming exclusives will also appear on PS4, the PS5 versions will be "built from the ground up" to take advantage of the new hardware. Speaking to The Telegraph, Ryan wanted to address concerns some had over PS5 games like Horizon Forbidden West, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and Sackboy: A Big Adventure also coming to PS4 [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/06/11/horizon-forbidden-west-horizon-2-reveal-trailer-ps5-reveal-event"] “The first thing to say is that our PS5 experiences or versions of these games are built from the ground up to take advantage of the PS5 feature set," Ryan explained. "So I think offering a PS5 version of these games for the PS5 community and then a PS4 version of these games to the PS4 community, I don't see what's wrong with that." Ryan previously spoke about the importance of the over 100 million PlayStation 4 owners and how it was "crucial" to keep serving these people for years to come, and he echoed those thoughts in this interview. “We've got a community of PS4 gamers 100 million-strong. It would be wrong to walk away from those people too early. And they've been engaged with their PS4s this year under lockdown to a greater extent than at any point over the course of the cycle. They're using their PlayStations. They're happy with their PlayStations. Why would we stop giving them games?” [widget path="global/article/imagegallery" parameters="albumSlug=confirmed-playstation-5-games&captions=true"] As for how long PlayStation fans can expect to see these cross-generational exclusives, Sony's SVP of Global Product Strategy and Management Hideaki Nishino did mention that the full generational transition from PS4 and PS5 "will take about three years." The next big known exclusive for PS5 is set to be the 2021 sequel to 2018's God of War, yet there has been no word as whether or not Santa Monica Studios will also be bringing Kratos and Atreus' next adventure to PS4. Speaking of games appearing on PS4 and PS5, if you purchased Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War on PS5, you may have been accidentally playing the PS4 version, and we're here to help make sure you are playing the proper next-gen version.
